The fourth CIIE, held in November this year, will set up a special area for energy, low-carbon and environmental protection technologies in Hall 4.1 of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).
This is the information obtained by The Paper (www.thepaper.cn) from the promotion meeting of the energy, low carbon and environmental protection technology zone in the fourth CIIE technology and equipment exhibition area held by the CIIE Bureau on March 16.
The third CIIE set up an energy-saving and environmental protection zone for the first time in the north hall of the National Convention and Exhibition Center, with an area of nearly 8,000 square meters. At the publicity meeting, Liu Fuxue, deputy director of the China International Import Expo Bureau, revealed that the technical equipment exhibition area of the fourth expo optimized the energy conservation and environmental protection zone, enriched the connotation, expanded the theme, renamed the energy low-carbon and environmental protection technology zone, and took "low-carbon development, green recovery" as the theme.
Liu Fuxue said that the establishment of the energy low-carbon and environmental protection technology zone will not only help to further enhance the professional platform effect of the Expo, but also be more conducive to gathering global superior resources, building an international exchange and cooperation platform for China's energy and environmental protection enterprises, and promoting the transformation and upgrading of China's energy low-carbon, which is of great significance to environmental protection, promoting China's economic and social development and comprehensive green transformation. At present, the zone has an exhibition area of more than 11,000 square meters, absorbing nearly 50 well-known exhibitors, and will continue to expand the scale and optimize the structure of the zone.
Yang Bo, deputy director of the National Energy Conservation Center, who attended the online publicity meeting, said that since last year, the Expo has set up a new special area with the theme of energy conservation and environmental protection, which has built a good platform for multi-level exchanges and cooperation between governments and enterprises in the field of global energy and environment, and the National Energy Conservation Center has also been fortunate to participate in the preparation of the special zone. At this Expo, the National Energy Conservation Center will play its role, inviting local energy conservation centers, demand enterprises and international green technology suppliers to participate in the energy low-carbon and environmental protection technology zone, docking supply and demand sides, and promoting the application of advanced technology products and experience in China. At the same time, it will also serve enterprises, and introduce the development trends and policies in the field of energy and environment in China through exchange meetings, policy interpretations and other forms.
