The Calligraphy and Painting Institute of Xiamen University for the Aged was established

November 5 (Taiwan Straits Herald reporter Qian Lingling Chang Navy correspondent Chen Yujie) Yesterday morning, the Xiamen University for the Aged Calligraphy and Painting Institute was officially established, and the city's poetry, calligraphy and painting photography exhibition of the University for the Elderly was held at the Municipal Art Museum. Focusing on the theme of celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the exhibition is divided into four parts: poetry, calligraphy, painting and photography, with a total of nearly 500 works on display.

Among them, there are more than 130 works recommended by the Academy of Calligraphy and Painting of the University of the Elderly, and among these works, there are precious works by the late famous calligraphers and painters of Xiamen, such as Zhang Xiaohan, Yang Xialin, Xu Fei, Gao Huai, Zhang Renxi, Wang Zhongmou, Yu Gang, Xie Chengguang, Lin Jinding, Xu Wenhou, Wei Jiangqiong and Lin Cen, who selflessly donated them to Xiamen University for the Aged.
