Since I first saw this manuscript of Feng Guohua in Beijing, exactly two months have passed, and today it has finally arrived in my hands.
Feng Guohua's Manuscript: On Actively Eliminating Adultery and The Long-term War of Resistance
Feng Guohua, zi Mai Ying, was born in Baoshan in 1901. He was an educator, but after the outbreak of the "August 13" Songhu Anti-Japanese War in 1937, he abandoned his pen and embarked on the road of resisting Japan and saving the country, leading many trainees trained by him to transport ammunition to the battlefield, transport the wounded, dig trenches, and recruited more than 500 unemployed teachers and out-of-school young people from counties near Shanghai to form guerrilla groups behind enemy lines. In 2020, with the approval of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, he was announced as a famous anti-Japanese hero and hero.
The manuscript is titled "On Actively Eliminating Adultery and Long-term War of Resistance", and the drop of "Feng Guohua" is full of 15 pages, only the first page is read, and the worries and lamentations about Baoshan in the text make people extremely moved:
I was a native of Baoshan County, a city dweller in a county that had been brutally killed twice, and I lived for more than fifty days under artillery and aircraft during the Battle of "128"; this time, because of my position, I left Baoshan City the day before the war broke out in Zhabei, and I still pay attention to the affairs of my hometown every day.
The last "128" battle, nominally the Battle of Shanghai, in fact it was completely the Battle of Baoshan, this time it is said that the enemy attacked Shanghai, but in fact it was still attacking Baoshan; Wusong, Jiangwan, Zhabei, was originally baoshan county, and other places such as Yangxing yuepu stone cave Shengqiao Xiaochuan Shaluodian Liu Xing Gujia Town Dachang Temple Line and other places, are completely Baoshan county territory, so the difference is only added to the area around Yingxiang and Yangshupu, and now the focus of the war is completely focused on the territory of Baoshan County, so all kinds of news about Baoshan, The people of Baoshan did not listen to the feelings of touching the scenery and touching the rise and fall of the country, even if the People of Baoshan did not listen to it, they also felt that the all-round war on the survival of the country was desperate, and the chun chun pieces were all for people to care about and not forget.

On the right side of this page there is a line of brush writing, "The Remains of the Martyrs", "The Narrative of the Han Traitors is Very Detailed", the upper right corner has the word "Historical Materials", and the "Mai Ying Baoshan" is marked under the "Feng Guohua" section.
In December 2020, I planned a special exhibition of Huang Yanpei's handwriting documents, so I was extremely familiar with Huang Yanpei's handwriting, carefully distinguished, the handwriting outside these manuscripts were all written by Huang Yanpei, the words "writing" and "things" were exactly the same as the "works" and "things" in the exhibition works, and the pen and structure of the rest of the words were almost the same.
Huang Yanpei was born in 1878, and although Feng Guohua was 23 years old, the two had a deep friendship. In 1932, when Feng Guohua was the director of the Baoshan Education Bureau, Huang Yanpei gave Feng Guohua a couplet, giving high hopes to this future generation: unlimited youth and timely progress; the current big appointment to Japan.
Feng Guohua wrote an article in the June 1935 publication "Social Education Newsletter" entitled "From My Body to National Hidden Worries and National Rejuvenation", which said that in August 1930, he went to Zhenjiang Qiaotou Town with Huang Yanpei and other friends to visit the school run by Leng Yuqiu:
"Mr. Huang is also a person over fifty years old, climbing mountains and mountains, physical fitness and light car; this summer to Xugongqiao meeting, the heat is above Baidu, there are many passengers and cars, we are a group of Jiang qingyu Yu Qingtang Zhu mr. Huang Ren led by Huang Ren to walk from Xugongqiao to Anting Station, although sweaty, and Ren Old spirit flashed, walking very strong, we young people, trailing behind, but some difficulty."
When Feng Guohua was martyred, Huang Yanpei was on a ship from Hong Kong to Wuzhou, Guangxi, and only after returning to Shanghai after the victory of the Anti-Japanese War did he see this manuscript, and with the mourning of the human qin, he wrote down those few lines, and then bound them and collected them as historical materials.
After Feng Guohua's sacrifice, the author of the signature "W Li" wrote a poem in his memory, "He Was Honorably Sacrificed":
Then, on October 22, the "Declaration" published the news of his sacrifice: "Since the fall of Shanghai, although xu Yunzhi and other scum have emerged in the Shanghai education circles, they have led their disciples to engage in guerrilla warfare and defend the country, because they have exhausted their bullets, and there are also many people who have been martyred, such as Mr. Feng Guohua, who recently died in the battle of Sijing in Songjiang, that is, one of them..."
Founded on October 10, 1938, and forced to cease publication on June 22, 1939, it was published for a short period of time, but in just nine months, with articles by hundreds of authors, it conveyed a large amount of information about publicizing the War of Resistance and mobilizing the people, especially the difficult battlefield behind enemy lines led by the Communist Party of China in the early days of the War of Resistance Against Japan.
In November, the weekly magazine published an article signed "Lei Xun": "Mourning Mr. Feng Maiying".
He said: "What a sincere and enthusiastic Mr. Mai Ying, tall, square-faced, those glowing and red and moist eyes that show warm emotions, especially in his speech, counting the brutal acts of the Japanese army in China, the tragic situation of the Chinese people, he seems to shed tears, with his fingers continuously tapping on the main points written on the blackboard, the tone is very firm, the head is sideways as if in thought, while watching the response of the audience." His posture as an educator and the spirit of a chinese national warrior will always remain in my mind, and when I hear the news of his martyrdom, the waves of this impression are even more stirred..."
Looking back at this manuscript, written on September 25, 1937, it was the first year of the all-out War of Resistance. It was also on this day that the Eighth Route Army won the first victory of the War of Resistance at Pingxingguan, and eight years later, in 1945, the war was finally won under the struggle of the national united front advocated by the Communist Party of China.
On the land that once carried suffering and glory, a beautiful memorial park for the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression was built, which has become a spiritual home for generations of Baoshan people to remember history and move towards the future.
Time flies, it is another summer year, this night once again stood on the embankment of the Yangtze River, hundreds of years of gun smoke dissipated, Chen Huacheng, Tao Xingzhi, Yao Ziqing, Yuan Xitao, Pan Guangdan, Chen Bochui... They are still the stars scattered in the night sky of Baoshan Mountain, but tonight there is one more - this heavy manuscript, to welcome you home today.
