Conley hit a three-pointer, connected Gobert to a dunk, Bojan Bogdanovic broke through the layup, Gobert completed another layup, and the Jazz started 9-2. Dortmund's three-pointer helped the Thunder close the gap, but Clarkson led the bench to climax, and Gobert went on a 27-16 lead. Trae Mann hit a whistle-pressing three-pointer to trail the Thunder 18-27 in the first quarter.
In the second quarter, Ingles came up with two three-pointers, and the point difference quickly reached 15 points. Clarkson then took over the offense, making three-pointers, making free throws, breaking through, and the Jazz led by 19 points at 43-24. Alexander led the team to chase the score, and the Thunder trailed 42-54 at halftime.
In the second half, Mitchell scored three points, Bojan broke through, Conley's two-pointer, and the Jazz started 12-1 to lead to 23 points. Mitchell scored 12 points in the half-quarter, and the Jazz led by as many as 26 points. In the third quarter, the Thunder made consecutive three-pointers to narrow the gap, but Bojanri suddenly shot out, Clarkson hit a three-pointer, and the gap once again came to 25 points, and the Jazz won the opening red at home.
Bojan had 22 points, Gobert had 16 points and 21 rebounds, Conley had 10 points and four assists, Mitchell had 16 points on 6-of-17 shooting, Clarkson had 18 points and Ingles had 14 points.
Alexander had 18 points, Beziley had 15 points and seven rebounds, and Josh Gidey had four points and 10 rebounds.
