Shanghai, October 25 (China Youth Daily, China Youth Daily reporter Wang Yejie) On October 24, the final of the 2021 "Zhixing Cup" Shanghai University Students Social Practice Competition jointly sponsored by the Propaganda Department of the Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal Spiritual Civilization Office, the Municipal People's Congress Social Construction Committee, the Municipal People's Political Consultative Conference Law Committee, the Municipal Education and Health Work Party Committee, the Municipal Education Commission, the Youth League Municipal Committee and the Municipal Federation of Students was held at Shanghai Foreign Chinese University.

Focusing on the theme of "Always Follow the Party and Forge Ahead into a New Era", this competition has set up eight competition groups, namely Zhixing Centenary, Zhixing Yangtze River Delta, Zhixing Pudong, Zhixing Five New Cities, Zhixing Online New Economy, Zhixing Huabo, Zhixing People's City Construction, and Zhixing Rural Revitalization.

Since its launch in March 2021, the competition has carried out social investigation and social research by nearly 8,000 practice teams and more than 110,000 students in Shanghai, covering 34 provinces across the country and receiving widespread attention from the society and the media. In the early stage, after the evaluation and recommendation of various universities, a total of 390 social practice projects from more than 50 colleges and universities were shortlisted for municipal competitions. After the selection of the re-competition, a total of 119 practical projects entered the finals and competed for relevant awards. In social practice, the majority of students learn to observe, analyze and discuss, solve problems, promote development, and contribute to the construction of the country and the city.
