In order to enrich the cultural and sports life of the elderly in the community, build a healthy and harmonious living environment for the elderly, and further promote the "Love Chengdu • Ying dayun" community co-construction and co-governance and sharing action, on the morning of October 19, 2021, sponsored by the Xiaojiahe Street Elderly Association of Chengdu High-tech Zone, undertaken by Xiaojiahe Street Xinsheng Community, Xinguang Community, New North Community, Zhengjie Community, Yongfeng Community, Xingrong Community, Keyuan Community and Chengdu High-tech Zone Ande Social Work Service Center, the "Love Chengdu Ying dayun" co-organized by the Chengdu High-tech Zone Xiaojiahe Street Elderly Association, Xiaojiahe Street Xinsheng Community, Xinguang Community, New North Community, Zhengjie Community, Yongfeng Community, Xingrong Community, Keyuan Community and Chengdu High-tech Zone Ande Social Work Service Center co-organized the "Love Chengdu Ying dayun" In 2021, the Xiaojiahe Street Elderly Association "One Society, One Product" Taijiquan Exchange Competition for the Elderly was successfully concluded.
Participating in this Taijiquan exchange competition are 6 communities from Xiaojiahe Street, a total of 12 teams. At the beginning of the event, a wonderful waist drum performance kicked off the competition. Followed by the entrance ceremony, each team dressed in uniform, taking a healthy step, stepping on the cheerful "Athletes' March", full of enthusiasm and heroic posture, appeared in turn. Tang Yuangui, president of Xiaojiahe Street Elderly Association, and Zhao Yan, secretary of the Party Committee of Xinsheng Community, spoke for the competition in turn and expressed their full support.
Subsequently, representatives of referees and athletes took solemn oaths. With the order of the host, it officially entered the competition link, and each participating team went to the taijiquan and tai chi equipment competition in the order of drawing lots, and the judges scored on the spot. At the scene of the competition, the contestants dressed in neat and flowing tai chi costumes, accompanied by beautiful and soothing music, stepped on the same footwork, drew neat gestures, rigid and soft, and displayed tai chi in one move and one style. A total of 2 first prizes, 4 second prizes, 6 third prizes and 2 best organization awards were awarded in this competition.
Taijiquan is a national treasure of traditional Chinese culture, with profound cultural heritage and unique fitness effects, and plays an important role in promoting the fitness of the whole people. Through this Taijiquan exchange competition for the elderly, it has built a platform for Taijiquan lovers to show their style, enriched the sports and cultural life of community residents, and fully demonstrated the strong atmosphere of Tai Chi entering the community, mass fitness, and national fitness, and promoted the construction of a happy and harmonious community.
