It is understood that Changde Hanshou Wildlife World planning land is 2500 mu, with a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan. The project mainly promotes "wild stocking", "large population" and "night viewing", plans to raise more than 300 rare and endangered species in the world, will provide animals with forests, grasslands, deserts, rivers, lakes and other original ecological living environment, is a collection of animal and plant protection, breeding, science, tourism and marine animal performances as one of the "wildlife world".
By the end of 2019, there are more than 50 species of animals in the park, including red-necked kangaroos, toucans, red ibises, African lions, mountain lions, black bears, brown bears, etc. From January 1, 2020 to the present, the park has newly introduced nearly 100 animals such as grey-winged trumpetbirds, black helmeted hornbills, warty-nosed swans, red wallabies, honey bears, and West African crowned cranes. Subsequently, there will be more than 50 species of extremely rare and large species in the world, such as giant pandas, elephants, crested ibises, giraffes, orangutans, gibbons, anteaters, monk-faced monkeys, black bush-tailed monkeys, and green monkeys, so that visitors will be able to see a richer animal world.
At present, the park is stepping up construction. According to the person in charge of the project, a few days ago, the zoo gate building has completed the foundation part, and the zoo wall has completed 4 kilometers of masonry. Parking lots, rainwater, sewage pipes completed 70%, green tree planting and curb stones have been completed 1.3 kilometers, and 144 houses in the community are planned to be resettled, and 130 have been completed so far. In addition, the earthwork subgrade of Hanshou Lake Avenue, the cover plate culvert, the round pipe culvert and the rainwater and sewage pipes have all been completed.
It is understood that since December 2018, Hunan Tongfa Group has made every effort to catch up with the construction period and catch up with the progress. The project has been highly valued by the governments at all levels in Hanshou County, and the county leaders have centralized scheduling, responsibility and efficiency, front-line supervision, and six on-site offices and close cooperation to help the project be completed on schedule.
Construction is expected to be completed in 2020 to meet visitors.
