On August 13, the 2018 annual forest pest prevention and control project of Lancang Jiangyuan Park National Park of the second phase of the Sanjiangyuan Ecological Protection and Construction Project in Qinghai Province was fully completed.
The construction site of the project is located in Angsai Township, Zaduo County, with a prevention and control area of 79,000 mu, involving a total of 22 forest classes and 246 small classes. The main object of forest pest control is the cypress mole wasp, which is mainly carried out for the prevention and control of matrine tobacco. The project began to be implemented on July 23, 2018, and the construction unit organized a total of 158 laborers and 3 transport vehicles, and completed the project construction task on time.
The completion of the project has effectively curbed the trend of occurrence and spread of forest harmful organisms in the construction area, and minimized the losses caused by disasters as much as possible, which plays an important role in ensuring forest resources and ecological security.
