According to Fu Hongchen, a researcher at the Bureau, during vegetation surveys and specimen collection, researchers from the Bureau found 11 "raccoons" near the red-billed gull nest area in front of the bird watching house in Fujin National Wetland Park from September 15 to 17, 2015.
It is understood that the carnivorous plant "raccoons" have high requirements for the water quality of the ecological environment. "Raccopodium" is a floating herb, the leaves are kidney-shaped and round when flattened, with glandular and induction hairs, when stimulated, the two halves are close to each other with the middle rib as the axis, the outer ring is close, and a capsule is formed in the center to catch insects.
In 1999, "Raccoon" was included in the National First Class Protected Plant List by the State Forestry Administration, listed as an endangered plant by the IUCN (World Conservation Union), and there was no record of "raccoon" found in the Sanjiang Plain after 2000. The emergence of "raccoon" means that the ecological and environmental protection work in the protected area has achieved gratifying results.
