Return to the hometown to breed 10,000 black guinea pigs
In Xiadu Village, Ganzhou, Jiangxi, a river of clear water rushes north, and the wide road is lined with trees, and the once poor old revolutionary area has now become a beautiful new city. At present, there are 360 villagers in Xiadu Village, and there is a rare "specialty" in another place, that is, the figure of a small black guinea pig can be seen in forty or fifty households in the village. For villagers, breeding black guinea pigs is a way to create wealth, and they can get thousands of yuan or even tens of thousands of yuan of income every year.
How did the villagers of Xiadu Village get acquainted with the black guinea pig? This has to start with the entrepreneurial youth Qiu Xingui.
A few years ago, by chance, Qiu Xingui visited guinea pig farming in Guangxi, and at that time, he felt that there must be broad prospects and decided to try it. He immediately introduced 6 guinea pig seedlings from Guangxi and returned to his hometown to start the breeding business. With some experience, he introduced 200 guinea pig seedlings.
In 2015, his farm had more than 600 breeding rats and more than 100 finished rats. Fast forward to 2020, Qiu Xingui has more than 4,000 finished rats in the breeding base of a village in Xiadu Village alone. Counting the two new breeding bases in other villages, there are about 10,000 finished rats.
The natural enemy of the black guinea pig is actually a mouse
Passing on guinea pig breeding technology and experience to like-minded friends and leading the people to get rich together has always been Qiu Xingui's wish.
Qiu Xingui, whose business is getting bigger and bigger, while getting rich himself, has also driven the low-income villagers in Xiadu Village and the villagers of many surrounding villages to get rid of poverty and increase their income. According to Liu Jin, secretary of the party branch of Xiadu Village, now the village has funded the purchase of rat seedlings for Qiu Xingui, who is responsible for raising rat seedlings into breeding rats that are better cared for and then handing them over to the villagers, and at the same time teaching breeding techniques to the villagers.
Villagers can always ask Qiu Xingui for advice if they encounter any problems in the breeding process. After the villagers raised the breeding rats into finished rats, they were returned to Qiu Xingui, who was responsible for selling them. For the villagers, it is only necessary to take good care of the black guinea pigs. In addition, some villagers work directly in Qiu Xingui's guinea pig farm.

From Xiadu Village to several other villages in neighboring towns, about 300 families breed black guinea pig breeding rats provided by Qiu Xingui.
The breeding of black guinea pigs is actually not difficult, just need to create a dry and comfortable environment for the little ones, and then eat some grass, and the black guinea pigs can thrive. "In our case, although the black guinea pigs that grow up eating feed look big, there is actually no market. On the contrary, there is a market for black guinea pigs that grow up and look slimmer by eating healthy green grass. ”
Qiu Xingui said. In order to ensure that the little ones grow up healthy and strong, they will grow rations for the black guinea pigs in the field, rather than buying them from outside.
What outsiders can't imagine is that don't look at the name there are "rats", but also rodents, ordinary rats are actually natural enemies of black guinea pigs, "fierce" to their relatives, directly as "dry food" to eat.
There are many rats in the village, and Qiu Xingui usually fights with the rats. Fortunately, in recent years, the black guinea pig breeding technology and equipment have been continuously updated, in order to prevent the wild rats in the village from sneaking into the breeding base to harm the black guinea pigs, Qiu Xingui has specially installed a power grid in the base to protect the little guys. In addition, in order to make the black guinea pig live more comfortably, Qiu Xingui also specially introduced a fermentation bed.

Qiu Xingui introduced to the Beijing News reporter that in Guangdong and Fujian, the black guinea pig is an authentic food, the price is about 80 yuan per piece, and all kinds of black guinea pig fur processing products are also very marketable, and the price is not low. Of course, there are also people who buy it home as a pet, because the black guinea pig is cute in appearance, docile and herbivorous, and it is not difficult to raise.

In addition to eating black guinea pigs, Qiu Xingui also has some pet dolphins. Pet dolphins are more expensive, the most expensive can be sold for seven or eight hundred yuan, of course, in the breeding management, pet dolphins are also more expensive than black guinea pigs, need to be carefully cared for.
There are already three black guinea pig breeding bases, but for Qiu Xingui, his base camp is still in the conveniently located Xiadu Village. Liu Jin, the village secretary, said that in addition to the black guinea pig, the village is not engaged in agricultural production, on the contrary, it has been doing well, and the cabbage, tomatoes, peppers and other seasonal vegetables grown in the village are of good quality and are also one of the main sources of economic income for the current villagers.
