It is understood that in mid-May, the ship named "KAITI HILL Ship" carried 20611 cubic Australian imported radiating pine logs to dock at The Port of Xinminzhou in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province, after the ship docked at the port, the quarantine personnel of the Port Office of the Zhenjiang Inspection and Quarantine Bureau immediately boarded the ship to carry out surface quarantine inspection, and during the inspection process, an insect of the Kotochocena family was intercepted, and then identified by the Plant Inspection Laboratory of the Jiangsu Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, and confirmed that the insect was a rust-horned giant breast percussion.

According to the plant inspectors of the Zhenjiang Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, the rust-horned giant breast tapping armor is not distributed in China, and it can suck up tree sap, and if it is introduced to China, it will cause harm to the trees. The Zhenjiang Inspection and Quarantine Bureau shall quarantine and eliminate the damage of imported logs in accordance with the quarantine requirements to ensure the ecological safety of the Zhenjiang port.
