Zambian Market

The standard of living of zambia is not bad in Africa, where gdp per capita reaches 1,700 US dollars. Among them, vegetables and fruits are very abundant, and they can be exported while supplying them to their own countries. Most of the vendors in Zambian markets are women, while prices in Zambia are relatively low and the pressure on people's lives is not great. Zambia is still relatively backward in terms of industry, many goods come from China, and in the vegetable market, you can see Chinese-made goods everywhere.

Zambia Independence Monument

The Statue of Liberty of Zambia stands on the façade of the government office in the center of Lusaka, zambia's capital. The artwork depicts a man freed from bondage and represents the struggle Zambians faced when they overthrew the shackles of colonialism. Now, it has become a powerful symbol of Zambia.

The monument was built in 1974 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Zambia's independence. Although the country has undergone a relatively peaceful transition, winning independence without civil war or armed revolution, the struggle for freedom remains long. Unfortunately, it also occasionally involves violent repression by the colonial government.

The Freedom Warrior sculpture above this monument is inspired by real events. The immortal in the artwork is Zambia Mpundu Mutembo, an indigenous resident of the zambian town of Mbará. Arrested for protest and tried, Muttenberg was sent to Livingstone Prison and held in a cell. Faced with 18 armed soldiers, he was ordered to get out of bondage or be shot immediately. Summoning a mighty force, he managed to break the shackles.
