On September 18, in the village of Qiaolunmutu in Zhaosu Township, Zhaosu County, on the banks of the Turks River, villagers Yelpolati Lahan and his wife Aziguli Gulati made various preparations for the upcoming transition. The autumn pasture is 65 kilometers from the family of Yelpolati Rahan, and the distance of the transition is not very far, and every year in the winter, the Family of Yalpolati Rahan transfers its livestock to graze here.
This spring, 15 newborn calves were born in the Yelpolati Lahan family, and in the autumn, the semi-large calves could sell for 10,000 yuan each, driving an increase of 150,000 yuan. Now that I think about it, it is the right choice to keep breeding brown cattle. "In the past, because the milk squeezed was not easy to sell, and it was not easy to store and preserve, it could only be made into yogurt or milk lumps, and it was given to the neighbors when it was not finished, and it was too much to pour out." I also tried to sell yogurt, but I made very little money. Yelpolati Rahan recalls his past farming experience.
Later, the village set up a brown cattle breeding cooperative and encouraged herders to breed brown cattle in Xinjiang, which produce a large amount of milk. At first, Yelporati Rahan and his wife did not believe it, until they saw that the dairy machinery and equipment of the village farming cooperative had been bought back and signed a milk purchase agreement with them, and the uneasy heart finally let go. Yelpolati Lahan said that since the "order-based" purchase of milk, the family has changed a lot, the brown cow has grown from 3 three years ago to the current 21, the family house used to have only 3, this year 5 new built, the old house has been changed into a cattle pen, and a new truck has been added.
"Raising high-quality brown cattle has changed our lives and put my family on the road to riches." Yerboratti Rahan sighed. The change in the life of the Yelpolati Lahan family is just a microcosm of the development of the brown cattle industry in Zhaosu County.
As the breeding place with the highest concentration of brown cattle in Xinjiang, the population of brown cattle in Zhaosu County is huge. In recent years, in order to accelerate the development of the brown cattle industry in Xinjiang, Zhaosu County has taken the improvement of brown cattle breeds as the top priority of animal husbandry production, increased the investment in animal husbandry improvement funds, accelerated the pace of infrastructure construction such as cold distribution stations, and used for xinjiang brown cattle improvement funds of more than 2 million yuan per year, and the number of cold distribution stations in the county has reached 73. The county also actively promotes advanced technologies such as frozen essence cold matching and embryo transfer, and mobilizes the enthusiasm of farmers to breed good breeding stocks through the introduction of a series of preferential policies. At present, Zhaosu brown beef has been selected into the list of "National Famous And Excellent New Agricultural Products", which has greatly improved the enthusiasm of farmers, and the total stock of Zhaosu brown cattle has reached 112,000 heads, which has effectively promoted the industrial development of brown cattle in Xinjiang and realized the prosperity of farmers and herdsmen raising cattle.
