"If you want to be a hero, go to the soldiers." But the Radar Soldier must be the hero behind the scenes. "The Sky Eye Storm", jointly launched by Beijing Yundushan Culture Communication Co., Ltd. and Bayi Film Studio, held its premiere in Shanghai, and a veteran said emotionally at the premiere. As a tribute to the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China and the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Shanghai, "Heavenly Eye" will be released nationwide on May 24 to commemorate the ancestors who dedicated their youth, blood and lives to the construction of New China and homeland air defense security.

Set against the backdrop of Shanghai's "26th Bombing", "Heavenly Eye" describes the real story of the little-known air defense operations after the liberation of Shanghai, and the songs and tears can be sung. In May 1949, Shanghai was liberated and everything was in ruins. Not content with defeat, the Kuomintang, which had fled to Taiwan, regarded the blockade of Shanghai as the "most important task." With the support of the United States, it took advantage of its superiority in sea and air power to impose a military blockade on the mainland's coastal ports and frequently dispatched bombers to harass and bomb, in a vain attempt to put Shanghai in a paralyzed situation of "no lights and no machines." Especially after the "Second and Sixth Bombings" in 1950, more than 50,000 citizens were affected by the disaster in Shanghai, and the water and electricity transportation equipment was seriously damaged, and there was a severe situation of industrial and commercial stagnation, financial closure, bus and tram anchorage, household lights not lit, serious shortage of grain, gauze and other daily necessities, and currency depreciation, and the entire social system was almost paralyzed, and the situation was extremely bad.
With the vigorous support of the CPC Central Committee, the Shanghai Municipal CPC Committee and the Shanghai Municipal Government mobilized the broad masses of the people to the greatest extent possible, eliminated the anxiety and fear of the citizens caused by the bombing in the shortest possible time, stabilized the situation in Shanghai, restored the social operation mechanism to a normal track, and also smashed the Kuomintang's attempt to block traffic and suffocate Shanghai's economy.
However, the bombing of enemy aircraft is still a big problem. Chen Yi, then mayor of Shanghai, said: "We liberated Shanghai, only liberated the territory, not yet liberated the airspace, Shanghai can only be regarded as half of the liberation." Without air supremacy, Shanghai cannot survive. "This is enough to show that radar force building is crucial." After the "26th Bombing Campaign", the East China Military Region quickly established the Shanghai Air Defense Command and the Shanghai Defense Division Headquarters. At the same time, a group of young students of Shanghai Jiao Tong University who dared to take responsibility and dedication resolutely rushed to the Intelligence Department of the Shanghai Garrison Headquarters to report. Building 76 Anguo Road officially became the erection site of the first radar in New China, and also became the camp of the first generation of radar soldiers in New China.
In the process of counter-bombing, the active actions of the central authorities and Shanghai have enabled the new regime to gain the trust and support of the general public. The victory of the anti-bombing campaign enabled the city of Shanghai to intuitively present its own characteristics of strong centripetal force, great cohesion, rapid and efficient to the new China and the new era in a relatively special way. At the same time, because of the victory in the Shanghai air defense war, it also laid a solid foundation, provided experience, and made indelible contributions to the development of radar troops in the future.
The movie "Heavenly Eye Storm" is based on this history, restores the war reality of the "Two-Six Bombing" to the greatest extent, takes the radar soldier as the theme type, uses delicate techniques, portrays a distinct image of the radar soldier, and unveils the "mystery" of the radar unit for the audience. The film tells the story of Zhou Changsheng (Zhou Pu), commander of the 1st Company of the Heroic Company of the People's Liberation Army Independent Regiment in 1950, instructor Li Mingkui (Gao Junwei) and others who were ordered to reorganize and establish the first radar station of the People's Liberation Army, and 21 college students such as Chen Jing (Xu Yaoxuan) of the Electrical Engineering Department of Shanghai Jiaotong University were recruited into the army. Under the leadership of the soldiers of the People's Liberation Army, a group of spirited college students and a team of brave and good-fighting Heroes of the Soviet Air Force fought in the war, fighting with wisdom and courage, not afraid of sacrifice, and fighting to protect the blue sky of Shanghai.
The script of "Heavenly Eye" is adapted from the novel "Tianbo Haoyi" by Air Force Major General Guo Xilin, the author integrates his years of experience in radar soldiers and his passionate feelings for radar soldiers, meticulously depicts the difficult process of the establishment of the first radar soldiers in the revolutionary period, and shows the beautiful qualities of China's radar soldiers who selflessly dedicate themselves and guard the revolution. In the film, the fierce collision of missiles, guns, knives and various weapons of war, the fierce fighting between the Communist Party and the Kuomintang, the ambush battles full of dangers, the battle of wits and courage between the positive and negative factions, and the plot is not conventional and bloody reversals. The revolutionary fighters have many emotional lines that show their vivid characters, and their sincere emotions resonate with feelings. Rich film content and wonderful acting skills make the plot rhythm compact, and the sense of urgency and revolution of the war is revealed.
Yang Hu, a well-known director of Bayi Factory, directed the film, he has directed many film and television masterpieces such as "Believer", "Liu Laozhuang Eighty-two Heroes", "Extreme Sprint" and so on, and has rich experience in the production of revolutionary films, and is good at digging deep into the joys and sorrows of small people in large historical events.
