Bai Yin was the head of Xinlian Pictures in her early years, and became famous in the 60s for starring in "Su Xiaoxiao". In 1970, Bai Yin joined Li's voice and began her career as a television artist. Most of the dramas that Bai Yin participated in during Li's period were not well known to the audience, and only "Strange Woman", "Lover's Arrow", and "Chasing The Clan" were famous, plus she did not experience Li's TV glory period later, so her performance during this period did not leave too much deep impression on the audience. But this period is of great significance to her later direction: on the one hand, this is the starting point of her transformation from a former movie star to a TV drama actress, on the other hand, Li's TV experience also determines Bai Yinjie's future fixed drama path: playing a woman with a distinct personality.
In 1979, Bai Yin switched to TVB, and then worked for Wireless for more than 30 years. In 2012, Bai Yin announced his retirement, ending a half-century-long acting career.
