Former Guizhou Hengfeng coach Manzano posted a long article on his personal website summarizing the reasons for his dismissal in Guizhou Hengfeng, he said that football has no truth, the reasons for Guizhou Hengfeng's poor performance are manifold, and thanked Guizhou Hengfeng Football Club and all the people who have helped and supported him in China for 5 years.
Manzano summed up the reasons for his dismissal as follows:
Football is like life, no one necessarily grasps the truth, or has the truth. Years of coaching have allowed me to predict what will happen in the future, but continuous learning is also becoming more and more common in football. In this year's Chinese Premier League, I have encountered such a situation, we have not been able to successfully complete this season. Different reasons led to the inevitable, but we did not enjoy our work as planned.
Drawing on the experience of the previous year, I proposed to the sports clubs to bring in different players before the season preparation period. During the pre-season preparation period, the team was not in order, and many important players returned to the team too late for injury reasons or other reasons. In addition, we had to wait until the eve of the league to complete the transfer of 6 U23 under-year players this year, and the Chinese Football Association has asked all teams to revitalize Chinese football in the future by implementing the U23 policy. All of these uncertainties were frustrating before the start of the league, we didn't start well, and three consecutive defeats put us in the worst position. Even in my dreams, I never imagined such a bad start.
The initial solution we initially proposed to the club was not successful and the results were not expected to be satisfactory. The team didn't work together at some point. In last year's training, I gave our players all the joy they wanted, and everyone was united and united. This year, the situation is actually the same, and the club always has the manager to bear the responsibility for poor performance. In this case, there are also great mistakes and responsibilities at the club level.
Therefore, the final whistle of our beautiful stage in Hengfeng, Guizhou, still sounded, and from the first day I took over Guizhou, we were loved and respected here. Guizhou Hengfeng is a humble club in the Chinese Super League, and they are always accompanied by care and love in the process of their staff working with the Spanish technical team I represent.
After five seasons at three different clubs, this experience in China has made it possible for me to look at football in a different way, manage the team and live in harmony with players, managers, media and more. In my 19 years of professional league coaching and 33 years of coaching, I have benefited from a new experience of coaching in China, and I am honored to be a part of it.
