In October 1969, Long Fei was born in a peasant family in Hanyuan County, Sichuan Province, and when he grew up listening to his father tell the story of the Red Army's forced crossing of the Dadu River and the capture of the Luding Bridge, he planted the seeds of serving the country from the military. In 1989, Long Fei joined the army and spent his youth on the frontier. During his service, Long Fei endured hardships and hard work, trained hard, and was successively rated as "Excellent Communist Party Member", "Excellent Squad Leader" and "Training Pacesetter" for his outstanding performance, and was commended 9 times and awarded the third class of personal merit twice.

In 1991, Long Fei, who could have returned to his hometown, chose to stay in Xinjiang and become a people's policeman to guard the stability of the frontier. After participating in public security work, he faced the tests of life and death, blood and fire many times, but he was never afraid. In less than 7 years, Long Fei has participated in more than 100 arrest operations, destroyed 72 dens of illegal religious and violent terrorist crimes, been rated as "advanced worker" many times, and was awarded the third class merit once, making outstanding contributions to maintaining social security. He also risked his life many times to put out fires, rescue people who fell into the water, and fulfill his oath to the people with loyalty.

That night, taking advantage of the darkness of the night, Long Fei, who received the order, led the team members to advance little by little to the den where the violent terrorists were hiding. After the violent terrorists were shocked, they prepared to seize the door and abscond, in order to protect the lives of their comrades-in-arms, Long Fei kicked open the door and rushed to the house first. After Long Fei's sacrifice, he was posthumously awarded the first-class heroic model of the national public security system and posthumously recognized as a revolutionary martyr.
