On the basis of the previous two editions, the film festival has continued to explore, and has initially formed its own distinctive exhibition system, including eight units: "Starlight", "End of the World", "Pearl Picking", "Vientiane China", "Ukiyo Picture", "Another New Path", "Focus" and "Classic".
The "Starlight" unit focuses on the new works of star actors, the "End of the World" unit shows the best films in the world, the "Pearls and Shells" unit selects asian films of the year, the "Vientiane China" unit brings amazing new works in Chinese, the "Ukiyo Picture" unit focuses on documentary images, the "Another New Path" unit focuses on pioneering experimental films, the "Focus" unit focuses on Africa, and the "Classic" unit leads to a new debut of restoration films.
The eight units have their own emphases and styles, and at the end of the year, across time and space, they review the world film landscape of this year. In addition, from the perspective of the collection of films, the warm theme connotations such as equality, cross-border, freedom and humanity are transmitted, reflecting the good taste of the curatorial team.
