■ Crazy video
No one could say exactly how Lin Jun met Luca.
The police believe the two are in a cohabitation relationship, but Lin Jun's classmates say that Lin Jun only has another roommate. The police speculated that the two were lovers, but Lin Jun's classmates said that Lin Jun and Luca were not lovers. In the video, a naked man is firmly tied to the bed, and a man with a masked face stabs the bound man again and again with a broken ice pick and a kitchen knife. Subsequently, the masked man began to dismember the man and cut off some flesh to throw at the dog. In the video, a poster with the 1942 version of the film Casablanca can be seen on the wall.
On May 27 (the information is different, the timeline is based on The Canada Press, that is, the report of the Canadian News Agency), netizens reported this video to the Montreal Police Department, but the police believe that the video is false, so it has not attracted attention.
On May 29, the day Mr. Lin's friend called the police, a package containing a human's left foot was delivered to the headquarters of the Conservative Party of Canada. Another package containing a human right hand was intercepted at the post office, which was supposed to be delivered to the headquarters of the Liberal Party of Canada. According to clues provided by a janitor, in a garbage dump, the police found a suitcase containing a human torso and blood coat, while in the alley behind the garbage heap, the police also found some murder weapons. During surveillance at a nearby building, police found the suspect who threw the suitcase into the garbage heap. On June 2, the French police launched another search.
On June 3, French police received a report that they had found a hotel where Luca was staying. When the police arrived, they found only a few pornographic magazines and an aviation vomit bag. After questioning the people in the hotel, the police obtained Luca's mobile phone number and began tracking his mobile phone location.
On June 4, Luca was found at an Internet café in Berlin, Germany, and then arrested by German police. At the time of his arrest, he was browsing news reports about him. After the arrest of Lucca, the police arranged Lucca's extradition trip back home as quickly as possible. ■ Trial
On December 23, 2014, Luca was sentenced to 25 years' non-parole and an additional 19-year sentence. Despite being diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and histrionic personality disorder, as well as paranoid schizophrenia, Luca was sent to prison instead of a psychiatric hospital.
Lin Jun, on the other hand, was buried in Canada.
