Gao Yingpei entered Beijing relatively early to work, but he is indeed a Tianjin native, which can be seen from the fact that he likes to speak Tianjin dialect in many of his works.
Gao Yingpei was born in 1928 and studied cross-talk performance under the famous cross-talk artist Zhao Peiru in 1951. There were many actors who praised Gao Yingpei at that time, such as Chang Baolin, and even Zhou Deshan and Ji Pingsan all cooperated with him, of course, this belongs to the younger generation.
In 1954, Gao Yingpei entered the Tianjin Heping District Cross-Talk Team. Here, Gao Yingpei met a cross-talk actor named Fan Zhenyu. The two hit it off immediately, cooperated with tacit understanding, and soon became the golden partner of the cross-talk industry, known as "Gao Fan".

However, this work is not The premiere of Gao Yingpei, it was originally a stand-up comedy performed by the famous cross-talk artist Guo Rongqi, and later it was adapted into a counterpart. And in addition to Gao Yingpei and Fan Zhenyu, Ma Sanli, Zhang Qingsen and others have also performed.
