AKMU (MusicIan Musician) is officially back, and their comeback album is full of some amazing collaborations! The talented sibling duo sat down for a press conference for their album release, where they discussed their collaborative album and all the behind-the-scenes stories.
Suhyun and Chanhyuk's comeback album, titled NEXT EPISODE, contains 7 songs with 7 different amazing artists. Veteran singers Lee Sin Ji, IU (Lee Chi Eun), Zion. T, Beenzino, JANNABI, Crush and Sam Kim are some of the incredible artists who have been carefully selected to appear on AKMMU's first comeback album in two years.
At the press conference, Suhyun referred to the co-artists as "the Avengers Avengers," with Chanhyuk referring to all of them as "heroes of the Korean music scene."
Suhyun: "All the artists who participated and starred were Avengers level. We hear fans of the special artist and fans of AKMUs say, 'Best partner'. ”
Chanhyuk: "We have gathered all the heroes of the Korean music scene. When working with different artists, it's fun to imagine their personal colors while creating songs. ”
After giving high praise to the 7 co-artists, the two talked about the recording process of their comeback album. Can Hyuk is the author of all the songs on the album and was directly involved in the recording process.
It was here that Suhyun hilariously "complained" about the difference between the way her brother treated her and the way her brother treated other entertainers during the recording process.
He has a "tough coaching" approach to me. However, when it comes to IU and Lee's predecessors, he can't stop talking about how 'like' he is.
I will record for 4 nights and 5 days, but the IU will be done soon. During the recording of Lee's predecessor, whenever she completed a section, he would say 'thank you' or 'I love you' or 'I respect you'.

AKMU also took the time to thank Rush, who joined his recording work two days before enlisting in the military for compulsory military service.
Fans watched Begin Again Korea and loved our combination. We were in the process of preparing the album, so I asked him if he would like to participate and he gladly accepted the offer.
So I told Brother Can hyuk, "You have to make a song and get it ready before Brother Rush does his military service and let him record it." It all happened quite quickly and we worked at a fast pace. He (Crush) worked and recorded two days before entering the service, so we were very grateful.
