Born in 1999, Liu Tingting, a native of Guwen Village, Indigo Street, Pengshui County, lost her right arm when she was 9 years old due to accidentally touching a high-voltage line, and she was very depressed at first, but with the help of family and friends, she gradually came out of the haze and learned to eat, write and live with her left hand. She has loved sports since she was a child, and after losing her right arm, she began to play table tennis with her left hand, and sports brought her a lot of happiness. In 2017, she won the Chongqing Disabled Table Tennis Women's Singles Championship, in 2018 she won the second place in the Doubles Of the National Para table Tennis Championships, and in 2019, she won the fifth place in the mixed doubles of the Chongqing University Table Tennis Games. This hard-won competition result is inseparable from the usual hard training.

In July 2020, Liu Tingting switched from table tennis to taekwondo, hoping to learn more and enrich herself more when she was young. After more than a year of arduous preparation, I have shed tears and been injured in training, but I can take the initiative to overcome and maintain good condition whenever I encounter difficulties and challenges.

"In taekwondo training, leg pressing has always been my most feared training program." Liu Tingting said that because she is older, her ligaments are not as soft as children's, plus she is afraid of pain, so she has always rejected pressing her legs, but flexibility is the basis for practicing taekwondo, and she has to press and can only hold on!

For this award, Liu Tingting has been in a state of excitement. "I'm glad I won the prize at the National Para Games for the first time, it was an unexpected surprise and the best result I dreamed of!" Liu Tingting said, "Behind this medal is the joint efforts of all people, thanks to all the leaders and teachers who have helped me, they have always supported my dream, so that I can concentrate on preparing for this National Games." ”

Next, she will return to campus to continue her studies, and after graduation, she will become a physical education teacher or English teacher, and turn her hobbies into her career.
