According to reports, the cloud rainbow swing is located in the Monkey Pass of the Chongqing Yunyang Dragon Tank Scenic Area, known as Xiaohua Mountain, and is composed of a 100-meter-high rainbow painted arched swing main crane tower and a 108-meter-high lifting launch tower. The swing has a maximum pendulum arc of 90 degrees and a maximum pendulum diameter of 91.5 meters, which is currently the highest, fastest and largest swing in the world.
A rainbow swing in the clouds spans the canyon and faces the cliffs. After the tourists wear protective equipment such as flight suits, the tower will steadily raise the visitors to a vertical height of up to 88 meters. As the height increases, visitors' aerial vision gradually broadens to enjoy the 3D paintings and distant landscapes below. After the swing is released, visitors will swing beyond the cliffs at a speed of 130 kilometers per hour.

Wang Guoping, general manager of the amusement engineering branch of Beijing MCC Equipment Research and Design Institute Co., Ltd., a supplier of cloud rainbow swing equipment, said that the cloud rainbow swing ensures equipment safety through a variety of methods such as safety redundancy, electrical interlocking and increasing the safety factor. Before embarking on the swing, tourists need to change into flight uniforms, buckle seat belts and other related protective measures under the operation of professionals. The swing allows up to 3 people to ride at the same time, according to the weight of 100 kg per person, the total weight is 300 kg, and the two suspension steel ropes of the hanging tourists each have a net load of 400 kg and a limit load of 12.1 tons, which can fully give passengers the greatest stimulation experience under the condition of ensuring the safety of passengers.
According to reports, after the installation of the cloud rainbow swing is completed, more than 1500 dummy tests and dozens of real tests have been carried out in accordance with the requirements of national standards and specifications, and successfully passed the testing and acceptance of the National Special Equipment Testing And Research Institute. In order to maximize safety, the hanging steel rope of the Rainbow Swing in the cloud is planned to be replaced every 7,000 swings, and the replacement frequency is much higher than the wear rate, thus providing visitors with a more complete safety guarantee.
