The sequel to Spider-Man: Parallel Universe revealed its first stills
Six months after the start of the 1905 movie Network News, the sequel to Spider-Man: Parallel Universe finally exposed the first stills. However, what appears on the stills is not the well-known Spider-Man but a brand new character. The pattern on his chest resembles a spider turned into a skeleton, rather than the usual Spider-Man motif.
It is understood that this is the iconic battle robe pattern of "Spider-Man 2099". In the setting of the comics, "Spider-Man 2099" is the most dangerous of all the Spider-Man versions. Because none of the other Spider-Men had the ability to spit silk, Peter Parker synthesized the spider protein capsules himself and then put them into a spider web emitter. But "Spider-Man 2099" is different, not only does he have the ability to spit silk, but his melee danger level is probably the highest of all Spider-Man combined.
In addition, Spider-Man 2099 has claws that are somewhat similar to Venom, and has fangs that paralyze enemies. Unlike Spider-Man's Spider-Sensing, Spider-Man 2099's special ability is visual acceleration, where he can see what hasn't happened yet, which also gives him a head start in combat.
The sequel to Spider-Man: Parallel Universe is scheduled to be released on October 7, 2022
The original name of "Spider-Man 2099" was Miguel O'Hara. He was originally an expert in high-end genetics at alchemy, and they wanted to replicate Spider-Man's experiments. However, the experiment failed, and then the alchemy company secretly controlled Miguel with a highly addictive drug in order to control him, and Miguire had to use the company's experimental equipment to detoxify himself. But a jealous colleague had already secretly modified the experimental equipment, and Miguel repeated the spider venom experiment. And this experiment succeeded, he became "Spider-Man 2099".
Currently, the sequel's release date is set for October 7, 2022. Apparently, Sony still expects the film to make a difference during the awards season.
