In the early days, large foreign companies and banks such as Pujin Steel Plate and YKK were in the Qiao Guang Building, and there were coffee shops and bookstores downstairs, which were very prosperous.

In Beijing, Hu Hongbo came into contact with Lin Weicheng, the owner of Roast Goose Boy, so he invited him to Dalian to open a branch, and then there was the Roast Goose Boy Shop in Qiao Guang Building.

At that time, all the employees of Qiao Guang Roast Goose Boy were from the south, and the general manager was also a young southern boy surnamed Pan. The business method of roast goose boy was very special at that time, Cantonese cuisine, Teochew cuisine, Hakka cuisine are semi-finished products displayed in large refrigeration cabinets. The mouth-watering roast goose hanging in the showcase is mouth-watering, and two porcelain geese stand at the door, wearing vests like people to welcome guests.

Because of its characteristics, it was very popular in the early days of opening, after all, the roast goose of Cantonese cuisine is still very strange in the north. There is also the Egret Hotel located in the Harbin Road Industrial Zone, which is also a miracle, and I often go there.

The Egret Hotel I was talking about was called Li Ji Red Stewed Lamb, which is said to be a Henan specialty. The hotel is located on the north side of Fortress Hill, which is a typical industrial area, surrounded by motors, Sida Precision, Sande Electronics, North Pacific Canning and several other large foreign companies, there are no residential areas and offices, so almost everyone who eats there has to take a taxi. Li Ji has a local policy, that is, if the taxi sends guests, the driver of each car will receive a tip of a few dollars.

The owner of Li Ji's red stewed lamb is surnamed Jia, very thin and weak, and he also wears glasses like a cultural person. Every time he arrives at a meal, he will stand in the hall on the first floor waiting to greet the guests, and all those who have come to the familiar will come forward to shake hands and greet each other, making people feel warm and enthusiastic. When this hotel first opened, everyone was not optimistic due to the extreme deviation of the corner. Because at that time, almost all the hotels that were called were on Jinma Road and Huanghai Road, it was not easy to open a hotel on Harbin Road, but this old Jia did it. I remember that the wedding of another female journalist from our newspaper was held here.

You see, I can remember living with women journalists.

Because the Egret Hotel opened fire, two years later, when the lease was renewed, the owner deliberately raised the asking price, and finally the negotiation collapsed, Li Ji's red stewed lamb was relocated to Huanghai Road, and the manager was also changed, so it became a normal role and faded out of people's vision.

The landlord of the Egret Hotel thought that the ground was good, and he would open a fire if others could open a fire, and he also opened a restaurant after the withdrawal of Li Ji's red stewed lamb, and the name was not remembered, because it was closed in less than half a year.

One more thing about the past is because I recently watched the movie "Heroes of Fire".

Before the reform and opening up, Han Jiguang was a small person in Hongxing Village, and the neighbors would ask him for help with any red and white happy events. At the age of 18, he began to run boats and learned to repair boats and rivet welding, and also made seafood for everyone on the boat, so he was also familiar with various seafood preservation methods and how to make them taste better.

On June 1, 1984, Dalian Kaijian Company entered Maqiaozi Village, and the dagushan Township Government Canteen invited him to help cook, and Han Jiguang first knew that Maqiaozi wanted to set up a development zone, and to attract many domestic and foreign guests to invest in the Maqiaozi area to set up a factory. So Han Jiguang, who has a high level of emotional intelligence, has a bold idea - to open a seafood restaurant, so that guests from all over the world can taste the unique flavor of Dalian seafood.

This hotel was first called "General Stone Seafood Hotel" and later called "Seafood Hotel" and "Haixian Lou" and then to the current "Juxian Lou". The address of the hotel was also relocated from the middle section of Jinma Road to a very secluded alley at No. 24, Hongmei South Tingtaoli. As a long-established brand in dalian development zone, Juxian Lou seems to deliberately avoid the hustle and bustle, like a bamboo forest hermit, listening to the sound of the Yellow Sea here.

At that time, the development zone and the two districts of Jinzhou had just merged, that night I was invited to Juxian Lou to participate in a dinner party, one of the bureau was a cadre from Jinzhou District, and he received a call during the staggering, and then he frowned, he put down his mobile phone and said that there was a fire in Xingang.

Ah, everyone was shocked. He asked, who should take care of it?

Someone responded, that is the bonded area area, and it has nothing to do with the development zone.

It didn't take long and then I received a phone call saying that not only had it not been extinguished, but it was getting bigger and bigger, and everyone was surprised.

It is normal for a city to have an occasional fire, and according to common sense, as soon as the firefighters are on the fire, they will soon disappear and will still sing and dance.

But immediately news came that fire trucks all over the city had come up.

I didn't feel good in the shadows, so everyone hurriedly dispersed, and some people drove straight to Xingang when they went out.

When I got home, I was still nervous, looking outside, not at all like something was happening, the night covered everything, and the people walking in the sports park were as pleasant.

At that time, there was no WeChat, and there was no news from the major media on the Internet, so I was ready to sleep. Before going to bed, I turned on the computer again, and I saw a very short message on Sina: an explosion had occurred at the Dalian Dayao Bay Oil Port — presumably.

The next day at work, I learned what kind of sleepless night Dalian had. Only to know which is the city's fire truck, is the province's fire trucks are coming. Only then did we know that two of our young reporters spontaneously rushed to the front line after hearing the news of the fire, and were intercepted at the fire site, so they waited near the fire site until the early morning to collect some of the most important on-site news.

Later, I also heard that in the middle of the night, someone called one of my colleagues and told her to drive away quickly and that Dalian would not be able to save it.

After answering the phone, she squeezed her thigh with her hand, which hurt very much. Did she say it wasn't a dream? Not watching an American blockbuster, right?

Later, some media called Dalian youtube explosion fighting as "a miracle in the history of world fire fighting".

So, the other day I went to see the movie "Heroes of Fire", and I was also moved to tears, but there are some places where I feel fake and uncomfortable, because it is what happened around us.
