Multiple online videos showed a car looming in a river in Guzhen Town, Zhongshan City, and firefighters hoisting the vehicle. The video subtitle said that the deceased in the car was a nearby resident, and his father was called "Burning Goose Boy".
One netizen commented that he often practiced rowing in the river, but never found a vehicle.
On January 23, the video publisher Mr. Tang told Jimu News that the location of the video was SailongHe near the Wetland Park in Guzhen Town, Zhongshan City, at about 3 p.m. on January 22. At that time, local residents found a car in the river, and after calling the police, firefighters rushed to the scene and spent hours lifting the vehicle out of the water. After the water came out, the police inquired and found that the car was owned by a local resident surnamed Sun. The owner and the vehicle have reported the loss three years ago, the owner of the car used to gamble badly, owe a lot of foreign debt, many people came to collect debts. The owner of the car has not been heard from for three years, and his family and creditors think that he has run away to hide his debts.
"There was a pile of white bones in the car, some people said it was two corpses, some people said it was three bodies." Mr. Tang said.
