On the morning of May 9, the 2021 Shencheng Hangzheng (City) Chess Team Tournament closed at Shangri-La Hotel, Luohu. Shenzhen, Chengdu, Hangzhou and Zhengzhou each sent 7 professional chess players to play, including Wang Tianyi, Liu Dahua, Hong Zhi, Zhao Panwei, Cao Yanlei and other domestic super-first-class chess players. After 2 days and 6 rounds of competition, Zhengzhou won the championship; Shenzhen and Chengdu team had the same field score, but they ranked third after the innings, and Hangzhou team ranked fourth.

In the last round, Shenzhen defeated the top Zhengzhou team, in which Wang Linna and Zhengzhou coach Dang Fei had a good fight. Wang Linna played the level of a super-first-class female chess player in China and defeated Dang Fei to win this men-women match.
