Dai Zhongren went to see the auction exhibition, and at a glance he saw a bronze gilded statue of Yuan Shi Tianzun, which is the best Yuan Shi Tianzun in the market in the past two decades, the size, shape, casting, gilded appearance are very exquisite, is the representative of the Ming Dynasty gilded statue, the number of exquisite Taoist gods is less than the Buddha statue.
Dai Zhongren had seen this work many years ago, and it was originally a collection of Taiwan's famous private museum, and there were also special works that recorded it, thinking that it should attract the attention of buyers. On the day of the auction, the work was auctioned from 1.3 million, the response was not as expected, no more than four people bid, Dai Zhongren also found that some people at the scene had a confused expression, did not know whether to raise their hands, obviously they did not do their homework.
This first-time boutique appeared on the market, and was finally bought by a lady for NT$4.08 million (including commission). Dai Zhongren congratulated the buyers on the pity, because a year ago, a good-looking but gilded Yuan Shi Tianzun was auctioned in Beijing for 2,645,000 yuan (NT$13,255,000).
