Hu Yuqing won the World Amateur Go Championship
Hu Tianwang could also become a professional chess player, but he gave up such an opportunity. In fact, there are many professional chess players who give up their professional status and switch to the amateur chess world, for no other reason than three reasons: First, the competition in the professional chess world is very cruel, there is no superhuman record, and it is difficult to obtain a stable and higher income. Chess players also have to live and support their families, not only playing Go. Second, the prize money of amateur competitions is also good, the highest has reached six figures, and it can be attached to a unit to obtain a fixed salary, and the foreign competition may also be reimbursed for the difference rate. Third, in view of the above factors, the pressure between the two is obviously not the same.

2020 Shanghai Qingyi Team
In recent years, Hu Tianwang's main focus has been on hosting the Go dojo and forming a club. He and professional chess player Liu Yiyi jointly held the Qingyi Go Dojo, sparing no effort in cultivating chess players, and achieved remarkable results, and world champions Jiang Weijie, Fan Tingyu and Mi Yuting all studied here when they were young.
On this basis, they formed the Shanghai Qingyi Go Club, hired Liu Shizhen, a famous chess player and vice president of the Shanghai Chess Academy, as the head coach, and the world champions Jiang Weijie, Fan Tingyu and Mi Yuting as technical instructors. In 2020, the Shanghai Qingyi team, led by Hu Yuqing, successfully advanced to the Weijia League, and the team's rosters are: Liao Xingwen 6 Dan, Cao Xiaoyang 5 Dan, Chen Yichun 4 Dan, Cheng Jia Ye 3 Dan, Xu Haofeng 6 Dan, Luo Xuan 9 Dan (Han). An amateur king has done a lot of things that professional chess players can't do, and that's really inspiring. It tells us that as long as there are dreams and grasps, through unremitting efforts, the ideal will certainly be realized. Although this young team did not establish themselves in the League One and were relegated miserably, we have reason to believe that they will make a comeback.
Hu Yuqing and Wang Xiangru
Hu Yuqing, born in 1981, devoted himself to the cause of Go, until October 1, 2019, when he and His girlfriend of many years, Wang Xiangru, a professional chess player, entered the palace of marriage. The combination of the two can be described as a combination of langcai and talent, and the Chinese chess world is undoubtedly a great joy, adding a pair of divine eagle heroes.
