When East and West meet again at the exit of fate / is it out of a desperate situation? Or self-destruction? The blame of the left hand against the right hand / can not / build a new Noah's Ark to escape this millennium of predicament.

How is this virus changing the world? And how should poets and writers respond to and write about these changes? Recently, the poet Guidimaga wrote a long poem, "The Cracked Planet." He said: "In such a human being is experiencing the most difficult moment, poets and poetry should take on the noble mission of leading the human spirit, to defend freedom, fairness and justice as our common responsibility, we must use poetry to break down any form of barriers and isolation, and to make our contribution to building a fairer, more reasonable and humane world." That's why I wrote the long poem "The Cracked Planet" in an attempt to answer the questions of the situation facing the world today. ”

On October 21, the "International Poetry Symposium on the Cracked Planet" was held in Beijing.

According to the Estonian writer Yuri Tarvette, "The Split Planet" is directed at specific global public crisis events, writes about the great suffering that human beings are experiencing together, and on this basis develops a lot of near-essential thinking—exploring the prosperity and crisis of human civilization, progress or regression, and the deep and complex symbiotic relationship between human beings and our planet that is mutually changing and interdependent. This poem proves that poetry still has a strong sense of concern and expressiveness for contemporary realities today.

The character played by Gidemarga is similar to that of Bimo, whom he has written repeatedly in his past poems. As a priest, Bimo maintained the connection between his people and the natural world and the mythical world in his own unique form. In a seemingly surreal way, he connected the worlds of the sun, stars, rivers, ancestors, and gods with our world in order to achieve a kind of 'resurrection'. This constitutes a tragic relief from the real world. His attention to and excavation of his original national cultural elements, as well as the vivid expression of national myths and legends, have not only survived but also been unique in today's world of economic globalization. A unique linguistic system that survives a completely different cultural ecology often has the qualities of a victim. But although his language was from the position of the victim, he was by no means a desperate victim. He combines his unique national language and way of thinking with the most immediate topic of the crisis of human civilization, so he is not only an epic poet facing the national cultural tradition, but also an epic poet facing the future of human civilization. Yuri Tarwitt said.

Yuri Tarwitt also contrasts Gidimaga's poetry with the work of other poets: "Gidimaga's writing of the natural world, especially animal imagery, is similar to that of William Blake, whose tiger is associated with powerful primitive spiritual power and immortal transcendental power, and this mysterious sense of power also appears in Gidimaga's writings." Including the similarities between him and Neruda, both poets have a prophetic human consciousness, capable of projecting the total imagination and concern for the fate of mankind and the fate of nations into their own poetry, which constitutes a hidden ideological unity between them. This also reflects how poets of different nationalities and languages are influenced and effectively dialogued in the canon of human literature in the new era. ”

Dinnick Teliken, a translator who graduated from the University of Zagreb's Department of English Language and Literature, said: "This poem was written a year and a half ago, but it looks as fresh as it was written a few days ago, because the planet is still rifted apart and it is not easy to be optimistic about the current situation. As the poem says, some things are still unchanging, and there are some things that we must be aware of, such as the similarities mentioned earlier, such as the poetry itself. Poetry represents the power of words. It does not have the power of politicians, the economy, the enterprise, but it maintains an incredible and important force. This power is sometimes not shown, but it has always been there. The poem Gidimaga shows this power. ”

The Romanian writer Eugen Ulicarlo spoke of the imagery in Gidimaga's poems: "Gidimaga wrote about very important things, about snow leopards, about old women in Sichuan villages, about small and grand things. In this way, The poetry of Guidimaga opens a door to the future and sees the possibilities of the future. Love and hate, how should we choose? Gidemaga tells us to choose love, because love is the foundation of the world, and we cannot put personal, small hatred into this great love. ”

Many Chinese scholars and critics at the scene compared This long poem by Ji Di Maga with Qu Yuan's long poem and the poetic tradition he pioneered, and the translator Wang Jianzhao said: "Ma Jia is a typical modern poet, Qu Yuan's poetry reflects loyalty and patriotism, and Ma Jia's poetry shows a kind of concern for all mankind and concern for ecology, and his vision is not to stay in the concern for the princely states, but to have the vision of all mankind." If we compare Maga's "Cracked Planet" with Qu Yuan's poems such as "Heavenly Question", "Departure from Sorrow", "Nine Chapters", and "Nine Songs", we obviously have this characteristic. But in the context of poetry, they are also in the context of political lyric poetry. Liu Wenfei, president of the Chinese Russian Literature Research Association, said: "Since the beginning of the twentieth century, Tsvetaeva, Mayakovsky, including Eliot, including many people, have begun to write prose in long poems, and the object of writing is not a story, but an emotion. This long poem of Maga began to have a change again, and this change was like a return to the Chinese tradition of Qu Yuan or the tradition of Fu, or possibly the tradition of poetry and philosophy. ”

The poet and critic Tang Xiaodu also put "The Cracked Planet" in the system of long poems to understand: "I think of Yeats's "The Return of Christ", Eliot's "Wasteland", and Ginsburg's "Howl", because Maga uses the Pai bi sentence form a lot, and we have probably been very taboo to use the pai bi sentence in the poem since the 1980s, which is the way large-scale political lyric poetry is used well in the past, and the advantage of the piracy sentence is to accumulate a kind of potential energy, but you must have enough strength inside and outside to balance this potential energy, otherwise you may end up venting. Kitajima's "Wrong Way" seems to have written only one-third of the eight or nine hundred lines, and then he fused the narrative and lyricism together. In Cracked Planet, the large-scale use of comparative sentences will transmit the inner energy to us. ”

According to the poet Xidu, "The Cracked Planet" deals with a deeper theme: "This depth comes from the fact that the poet is not a simple identity, but that there are multiple identities that play a role in the poem." The first identity is the voice of a classic left-wing poet, which has some connection with Mayakovsky, Neruda, and Ai Qing; at the same time, he is also a Yi poet, the successor of Bimo. There is also the identity of being an individual human being, and I speak to all of humanity. Because of this multi-voice interweaving, this poem pays attention to the theme, as if he is dealing with the division of mankind and the crisis of mankind brought about by the reality of the epidemic, in fact, it also involves mythology and history, not only the history of the twentieth century, but also the history of the longer term, the history of the Yi people, the history of the Chinese nation, including the history of the entire world and the fate of mankind. ”

Critic Yang Qingxiang believes that this long poem can be seen as a new political lyric poem in a historical context. "And the politics I am talking about here is not the simple ideological politics of the contemporary Chinese poetic tradition, but refers to a possibility of future life for mankind, which is precisely the biggest politics at present, the biggest politics in the world."

In his final response, Guidimaga said: "I personally think that it is okay for a poet to sometimes write about the ultimate thinking of human beings, and even something mystic, but more importantly, there should always be some poets who write about the era in which they lived." For poetry, it is two directions, one is Heidegger's statement, the poet's mission or the poet's vocation is to return home; the other is that whether we stand on the top of a mountain or stand in a multidimensional place in the universe, the examination of the earth and human beings ultimately returns to the poet's perception of life at a certain point on the earth. ”

Selected essays from Gidimaga's "The Cracked Planet – Dedicated to All Humanity and All Life"

It is this planet that created us

Or have we changed the planet?

Oh, Tiger! Undulating armor

The light that flows with numbers. The only will.

At this moment, it is still in another dimension of space

Walk alone in a calm gait of silence.

The never-tiring walk, the hidden fire.

Let the rotating energy become the gear, the handle of time,

Hammering the waves of golden fur.

The tiger is still there. Never left us.

In all four directions of the planet, the toes are trampling

Now, which is about to disappear, the eyeball reflects the elements of creation.

It doesn't just live in that Cham book,

Its eyes have been fixed on human beings who are entangled in good and evil.

Not every one of us has a definite sin when the sky goes down,

The eagle's flight was no longer high enough.

Once the sky is without a high mark, the spirit and value are destined to rise from the height

Slipped. Next to it are injured eagle wings.

When the language of the wise is stained by the hands of money and material things,

I saw a bird 20 years ago.

Falling to the ground from the city's towering black chimney, it was time to forgive the bird

Or forgive us? The silence of the sky answered everything.

Any omen is said to be delivered in a different way,

Bimo of our tribe once told me.

The war finally broke out, in a way that was invisible to the naked eye.

oh! Ancient enemies. Who broke into your home,

Use an analogy of offense

It seemed to alleviate a little sin, but it was true that humanity woke up

You sleep for tens of thousands of years.

From one city to another, from one country

to another country,

It crosses traditional borders, where there are armed though

Soldier to the teeth,

It crosses sovereign airspace, because no one can stop it

Free airflow,

The most advanced detectors also didn't find it weird

whereabouts.

It's a special kind of war, another metaphor for death.

Of course, it does not require a passport, you can go anywhere you want,

You see the migratory birds that fly with the season, the fruit bats hanging upside down on the cliffs,

Scarlet ass chasing orangutans of the opposite sex, insectoids jumping across species,

They will all throw the dice of life or death into the mailboxes of heaven and hell.

It has visited churches, mosques, Taoist temples, temples and secular schools.

Closed nursing homes and heavily guarded prison gates were also knocked on.

If possible it will awaken all the governments in this world, the God of Death

mask

It will nail the black panic into space. The red spear will kill

Black shield.

When East and West meet again at the exit of destiny

Is it out of the corner? Or self-destruction? Left-handed blame for right-handed,

Not really

Create a new Noah's Ark to escape the millennia.

The lonely planet is still spinning, but the twelve sons of the Snow Clan will always wake up

prophet. That's because Le Rou told me, all animals

And plants are brothers.

Although the sea that Homer had sung was still gushing with blue liquid,

The seal's eyes were filled with cosmic messages.

This may not be the final judgment, but the bowl-shaped firmament is still a unicorn

It covered the top of a human head before it appeared.

This is not a traditional war, and it is not a nuclear war.

Because there is no winner in a nuclear war.

Marie Curie spoke up for a regime, and to this day she has not been able to

Judge her right or wrong.

But her conclusions about nuclear weapons were thankfully not drawn

Any defamation and controversy.

This is a resurgence of the wars that have occurred, just more

The danger is terrible.

That's because today's global village is in the hands of human beings

It is a double-edged sword.

What an ancient and close war, no one can stay out.

It invaded powerful dynasties and rewrote the history of the ancient Athenian Empire.

In the Middle Ages, it easily wiped out more than a third of Europe's population.

It was also an accomplice of the colonists, killing millions of native Indians.

This is a war of resistance that belongs to all mankind. Regardless of region.

If I had to choose, I would choose to protect every life,

Rather than using abstract politics to interpret the meaning of so-called freedom.

I think both Adorno and the poet Cardenal would approve,

Because even if

The humblest beings are at all times higher than empty preaching.

If public safety is built by everyone,

Then I would choose obedience to the collective rather than confrontation.

From Wuhan to Rome, from Paris to London, from Madrid to New York,

You can see familiar but unfamiliar eyes from every balcony.

My respect for the rights of individuals is based on respect for all human rights,

If the rights of the individual can unjustifiably harm the interests of the masses,

Then I will take these words from the code of human rights without mercy,

But believe me, I will live my whole life defending true human rights,

And the rights of individuals are the most sacred part that needs to be protected.

At this time, humanity can only work together

to cross this darkest canyon.

Oh, Benjamin's passport was broken, and he gasped at the border

The head beckoned to me, but he didn't have to tell me through the way of dreams, Zweig

Why did you choose suicide.

Despair of humanity is fundamentally his belief in evil

Has prevailed and cannot be changed.
