Xiangsheng Examination: Han Jizong of the Xiangsheng family "Gaomen"

Cross-talk examination 95: Cross-talk family "high gate" Han Zikang

Xiangsheng Examination: Han Jizong of the Xiangsheng family "Gaomen"

Han Zikang, born in 1894, Manchu, Beijing native. His original name was Han Kang, and his stage name was Han Jizong.

Han Zikang's father was a guy from a grocery store in Daxing, Beijing, and his family was not very well off; even so, his father still sent him to private school, hoping that he would learn and excel. However, in that era, such a family could not produce a child who studied for a long time. There are sources on the Internet that Han Zikang graduated from Chongshi Middle School in 1905, which is obviously untrue, because he was only 11 years old this year. The reality is that he reluctantly dropped out of Chongshi Middle School. Because he did not agree with the family's marriage arrangement, he fled; he also served as a soldier in Feng Guozhang's army, but also fled. Later, this young man who liked to listen to crosstalk inadvertently got to know Zhang Jieyao, and as soon as the two saw each other, Zhang Jieyao became a disciple of Gao Wenyuan through the way of Dai la's disciple. Since then, Han Zikang has tied himself to Zhang Jieyao, and even if his brother Zhang Jieyao and the faction led by Zhang Shouchen do not deal with each other and have a serious confrontation, he has no complaints and regrets and follows his brother to change his stage name to Han Jizong. His brother Zhang Jieyao's stage name is Zhang Fool, but in order to fight Zhang Shouchen, he changed his stage name to Zhang Jizu. The new stage names of the two brothers together mean that "they are the ancestors of the comic world". Xiangsheng originated from the burlesque drama of the Han Dynasty, and the ancestor of worship was the Oriental Shuo of the Han Dynasty. The Oriental Shuo character ManQian, the Shanghai audience also gave Zhang Jieyao a pennant, with the four characters of "Man Qian's Legacy".

In 1918, at the age of 24, Han Zikang formally engaged in cross-talk performances, and was hired by the Nanjing Guowen Museum as a researcher specializing in sorting, collecting, and compiling cross-talk and other rap techniques. Han Zikang, like his brother Zhang Jieyao, is a cultured person, so he was hired as a researcher by the Nanjing Guowen Museum. How highly educated Han Zikang is, it is debatable, after all, he has only attended private school, only Chongshi Middle School, but it is such a cultural level that he was hired as a researcher at the Nanjing Guowen Museum, which is really eye-popping. Compared with his brother Zhang Jieyao, an illiterate cross-talk master-level figure, Han Zikang's cultural level is really not low. However, compared with Yang Jinsheng, a graduate of the old Northeastern University, Han Zikang's level is also a bit of a dish. Whether the Nanjing Guowen Museum looks at the identity of Han Zikang's Moral Characters, and whether he is looking at the identity of Zhang Jieyao's disciple zhang Jieyao, it is unknown. After all, at this time, Zhang Jieyao had not yet started a 12-year-long national tour (in fact, the whole country ran the rivers and lakes), and had not yet received the pennant of "Man Qian's Legacy".

In 1951, Han Zikang participated in the Art Union Drum Book Club in Nanjing, and later performed in the Wuhan National Paradise Quyi Hall. It was also this time to wuhan, which contributed to his fate with Wuhan, and then he was transferred to Wuhan to work, and served as the people's representative of Jianghan District of Wuhan City, a member of the Standing Committee of the Wuhan Municipal CPPCC Committee, a member of the Hubei Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, a director of the China Qu Artists Association, the vice chairman of the Wuhan Ququ Association, and other positions, and also served as a teacher of hubei provincial art school, a teacher of literary and art cadre school, and a teacher of song and dance troupe.

In 1961, Han Zikang took the cross-talk actor Xue Yongnian as an apprentice in Wuhan, which was his only apprentice. This apprentice later wrote a biography for Han Zikang, and the name of the book was "From the Great Qing: Remembering The Cross-Talk of Han Zikang". Xue Yongnian applied for it and recounted his master's bumpy and magical life. Originally, Xue Yongnian and Zhang Shouchen agreed to worship Zhang Shouchen as a teacher, but three days later Zhang Shouchen repented and asked Xue Yongnian to worship his disciple Zhu Xiangchen as a teacher. Xue Yongnian actually followed Zhu Xiangchen to learn cross-talk, and Zhu Xiangchen also taught him, but things did not develop according to the predetermined path, he did not become the apprentice of Zhang Shouchen, the head of the Shouzi generation, nor did he become the apprentice of Zhu Xiangchen, the big coffee of the Baozi generation, but instead became the apprentice of Han Zikang of the German character generation and became a Shouzi generation cross-talk actor.

In 1962, Han Zikang died at the age of 68.

Han Zikang's cross-talk "Guan Gong Zhan Qin Qiong" performed when he was paired with his brother Zhang Jieyao is one of his representative works.

On December 8, 2019, Xue Yongnian's apprenticeship ceremony was held in Wuhan, and Pan Dun, Lin Sheng, and Liu Yanqi, three newcomers to the art, held a traditional worship ceremony. At the beginning of the ceremony, it was Xue Yongnian's apprentice Liu Xiong who received Dong Yi and added new strength to Han Men.

Han Zikang is Gao Wenyuan's apprentice, naturally a Dezi generation, so the newly acquired apprentices are Shou zi generation. However, in order to communicate with his peers, Xue Yongduo regarded himself as a literal generation, only one generation higher than Guo Degang. If Xue Yongnian did not take the initiative to descend, he would definitely not be able to accept apprentices, because his apprentices would not be able to associate with their cross-talk counterparts. Even so, Xue Yongnian's newly acquired apprentice, Liu Xiaoting, still had to call master.

Ma Zhiming, the young horse master, did not dare to accept apprentices because of his generation. If he took an apprentice, those low-ranking cross-talk bigwigs would disagree. Hi, crosstalk is never a good circle. As Matthi said: I love crosstalk, but I don't like the circle.
