Lin Yuanxi is the backbone of the Youth Group Society and the Great Chinese. Lin Yuanxi was born in 1910, joined the Communist Party of China in 1938, was transferred to the Pearl River Delta in 1943 to participate in the anti-Japanese guerrilla forces, in October 1944 with the troops into central Guangdong, in 1945 as the instructor of the guard company of the Guangdong People's Anti-Japanese Liberation Army Headquarters, on February 22, 1945, the main force of the Guangdong People's Anti-Japanese Liberation Army was transferred, passing through Xinxing County, Jiaoshan, by the Kuomintang 158th Division. The Anti-Japanese Liberation Army bravely defended itself and broke through by separate roads, and Lin Yuanxi fought bravely and sacrificed heroically. After the establishment of the Liangyang Working Committee of the CPC, two enlarged meetings of the Working Committee were held successively to study the situation in which the anti-communist countercurrent came, to determine the focus of work from the cities to the countryside, to carry out revolutionary activities in the rural areas, and to accumulate revolutionary forces to meet the requirements of changes in the situation. At the same time, we should continuously strengthen the political and ideological education of Party members. The party organization held two party training classes at Lin Yuanxi's home to study political theory.
In order to better learn red culture and inherit the red spirit, on July 9, 2021, the "Shuguang" social practice team continued offline research and interview activities at Shangyuanchun Road, Jiangcheng District, Yangjiang City. The event is mainly divided into three processes: interviewing revolutionary veterans, visiting Lin Yuanxi's former residence, and investigating problems. On our way to visit our former home, we met and interviewed a veteran. During the interview with the old party member Abo, we learned that Lin Yuanxi was an early Member of the Chinese Communist Party in Yangjiang City, and the first person to engage in Communist Party work in Yangjiang City, but he was not well known to outsiders when he was engaged in Communist Party work, because Lin Yuanxi has always been engaged in underground party work; but now the government has paid attention to it and has begun to give due honor to those heroes and martyrs who made great contributions in the revolutionary period. At that time, the environment was extremely harsh, and there were many dangers, and it was not easy to always adhere to such a original intention, and it should be necessary to carry out a large-scale promotion and education of the people of Yangjiang City, so that the people remember that today's happy life is bought with the blood of countless heroes and martyrs. Yangjiang City is the transitional zone of war in Guangdong Province, that is, the marginal area of war, the people have not experienced a profound all-round war, the degree of understanding and enthusiasm of the revolutionary martyrs and revolutionary historical events in their hearts is not high, and they lack the inherent desire to learn the spirit of the Red Revolution. At the end of the conversation, the old party members gave deep hopes to the youth, and when they saw that our young people could pay attention to the revolutionary sites that were not well known to outsiders, he was both excited and full of expectations for the future of China, and he also hoped that these revolutionary sites could be known to more people, and he also hoped that our young people could pay more attention to the protection and development of these red revolutionary sites in addition to studying, and make a unique youth force for the motherland and the people.
After visiting the veterans, the team continued to carry the flag to visit the former residence. In the middle of the arch lintel hangs a plaque with white characters on a red background, "Glorious House", and the marble plaques on the walls on the left and right sides of the main entrance are engraved with the words "Yangjiang City Patriotic Education Base", "Former Site of the CPC Liangyang Work Committee" and "Municipal Key Revolutionary Cultural Relics Protection Unit", giving this old mansion a flashing historical light. The decorations in the house, the introduction of the martyrs, etc. make us feel as if we have entered the red era in an instant, and seeing Lin Yuanxi's martyr deeds of bravely defying difficulties and obstacles in that difficult years, and serving the Chinese nation silently and heroically sacrificing, we are deeply moved by it, and we understand more clearly that today's beautiful life is not easy to come by, and we are more determined to study and struggle. Tracing the red footprint and inheriting the red gene is what our contemporary youth must do. Leaving the house, we continued our research. Although some people are not very active in cooperating, but more people respond positively, we feel the trend of the times - inheriting the red gene, we believe that the problem will eventually be solved, China will become more and more beautiful.
The "Dawning" social practice team successfully ended the practice of going to the countryside the next day. The practice team not only harvested many practical results, but also learned more about the history of the red footprint and the current situation of the red gene through the practice of this day, and strengthened the determination to learn and struggle.
