According to the Decision of the Beijing Municipal Urban Management Commission and the Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau on Commending the Advanced Collectives and Advanced Individuals in the Promotion of Domestic Waste Classification in Beijing, Teacher Zhang Jing of the Fangshan Adult Education Center was awarded the title of "Advanced Individual in the Promotion of Domestic Waste Classification in Beijing".
As the leader of the middle school publicity team of the Fangshan District Education System Domestic Waste Classification Publicity Group, Teacher Zhang Jing had the courage to take responsibility and took the initiative to lead the 12 teachers in the group to complete the task of curriculum development and textbook preparation.
She took the initiative to play the role of the head goose, held a mobilization meeting within the group, unified ideological understanding, guided everyone to unite their efforts, and used their energy to the maximum extent to develop the curriculum, laying a solid ideological foundation for the development of subsequent work; rationally allocating personnel, helping each member of the group to find a way to give play to their own strengths and advantages.
She conducted in-depth research, led the team to carefully design the curriculum for the characteristics of middle school students, from garbage classification to garbage reduction, from method to awareness, interlocking; she strictly checked, led the team to repeatedly deliberate, word by word, launched a simple textbook with pictures and texts, rigorous without losing humor, science without losing literature and art, and distributed to every middle school student in Fangshan District.
She took the initiative to play an exemplary role, and with the advantage of her rich experience in teaching, she took the initiative to undertake the first lecture and the most difficult environment, and set an example for the whole group.
She led the team members to overcome various practical difficulties and successfully carried out 10 publicity activities benefiting 4833 middle school teachers and students, which were affirmed by all middle schools and made outstanding contributions to promoting the classification of domestic waste in Beijing.
