The meeting elected 21 members of the Standing Committee of the 14th Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League, elected Xiong Zhuo as the secretary of the 14th Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League, and Guo Wenjie, Wang Hongtao, Li Jian, Mao Xiaogang, Yuan Hui (suspended post), Du Yue (suspended post), Shen Xue (part-time), and Chen Changyi (part-time) as deputy secretaries.

Born in February 1977, Xiong Zhuo was admitted to the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Tsinghua University in 1994 at the age of 17, directly pursued a master's degree after graduating from his bachelor's degree in 1998, studied for a doctorate in the department in advance in 1999, stayed on to work in March 2001, and obtained a doctorate in engineering in January 2003. He has won the Outstanding Graduate of Tsinghua University, the Outstanding Doctoral Graduate of Tsinghua University, and the Lin Feng Counselor Award.

At Tsinghua University, Xiong Zhuo successively served as deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, deputy secretary of the Youth League Committee, deputy director of the Student Department (Division), and secretary of the Youth League Committee. After returning to Beijing, he served as deputy secretary of the Working Committee, director of the office and secretary of the Working Committee of the Financial Street Subdistrict in Xicheng District, Beijing, and was appointed deputy secretary of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League in 2012, and secretary of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League in May 2017.

Xiong Zhuo

Xiong Zhuo presided over the overall work of the Youth League Municipal Committee, and was in charge of the Beijing Youth Political College (Municipal Youth League School) and the Beijing Youth Daily.

Born in October 1980, Guo Wenjie graduated from Beijing Jiaotong University with a master's degree in power electronics and electric transmission, a doctor of engineering, and a senior engineer. He once served as the deputy director of the Planning and Development Department of Beijing Jingyi Group Co., Ltd., the deputy secretary, director and general manager of the party committee of Beijing Jingyi Chunshu Rectifier Co., Ltd., the secretary of the party committee, director and general manager of Beijing Jingyi Green Energy Power System Engineering Co., Ltd., and the director of the business department and the director of the enterprise department of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League. In August 2012, he was appointed deputy secretary of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League.

Wang Hongtao was born in October 1980, graduated from Peking University with a master's degree in communication studies, and is an engineer. He once served as the assistant general manager of China Siwei Surveying and Mapping Technology Corporation, the general manager of Zhonghuan Satellite Navigation and Communication Co., Ltd., the deputy director of the Wangjing Street Office in Chaoyang District, Beijing (at the level of a department), and the secretary of the Chaoyang District Committee of the Communist Youth League of Beijing. In July 2015, he was appointed deputy secretary of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League.

Born in August 1983, Li Jian graduated from Tsinghua University with a master's degree in civil engineering. He once served as the deputy director of the Planning and Construction Department of Beijing Tianzhu Comprehensive Free Trade Zone, the deputy secretary of the Beijing Shunyi District Committee of the Communist Youth League, a member of the party group, the leader and secretary of the discipline inspection team, and the deputy secretary, mayor and secretary of the party committee of Mulin Town, Shunyi District. In June this year, he was appointed deputy secretary of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League.

Mao Xiaogang was born in November 1980, graduated from Peking University with a master's degree in international economics, and is the chief journalist. He was the deputy director and director of the commentary department of Beijing Daily, and a member of the editorial board of Beijing Daily. In June this year, he was appointed deputy secretary of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League.
