On the afternoon of September 10, Yucai School held a speech contest on "Studying the Constitution and Speaking about the Constitution".
The event was first contested on a class-by-class basis, from which a group of outstanding players emerged, and then the best of them participated in the "Study the Constitution, Talk about the Constitution" school-level speech competition.
Before the competition, Vice President Pei Bei delivered a speech on the theme of the Constitution, introduced the fundamental law of our country, the Constitution, and emphasized that studying the Constitution not only helps citizens understand their basic rights and obligations, but also has great significance for promoting the comprehensive rule of law. The next three contestants focused on the theme of "studying the Constitution and stressing the Constitution", using the examples around them to affectionately talk about people, events and laws in life, interpreted the importance of "studying the law, abiding by the law, and using the law", clarified the principle of "the law is around", "there is no rule and no square circle", "do not act with good and small, do not act with evil and small", and advocated that the students learn the constitution from primary schools, be good teenagers who study the law, abide by the law, and use the law well, showing the good features of the students who deeply study the constitution, be loyal to the constitution, safeguard the authority of the constitution, and carry forward the spirit of the constitution. They were either confident and composed, or passionate, and won the unanimous praise of the judges and teachers and the audience, and after careful and responsible judgment by the judges, Cheng Zixuan from class five (1) finally won the first place in this speech competition.
Young people are an important force in publicizing the Constitution. Through the "Study the Constitution, Talk about the Constitution" speech contest, Yucai School combines learning with practice, promotes the publicity and education of young people on constitutional law study, deepens students' understanding of the Constitution and other laws and regulations, improves students' legal awareness, and cultivates students' sense of social responsibility and the ability to distinguish between right and wrong and self-protection.
