The fierce wind set off waves, raging on the simple dock, Wang Jicai held two puppies on the dock - the shocking opening slow motion of the movie "The Island Keeper" brought my thoughts back to the real Kaishan Island.
In March 2017, Wang Jicai and Wang Shihua took a group photo with the CCTV "Military Documentary" column group and the news staff of the Jiangsu Provincial Military Region, with the author on the left.
So far, I have landed on the island more than 20 times, the longest of which was in March 2017, when I went to the island with the CCTV "Military Documentary" column group to interview Wang Jicai and Wang Shihua. They lived together for a week and developed a deep relationship with the couple. Therefore, I was deeply impressed by the grass and trees on Kaishan Island, as well as the smiles of Wang Jicai and Wang Shihua. Naturally, I will look for the real Wang Jicai in "The Island Keeper".
Many details of the movie "Island Keeper" are highly consistent with the real life of Wang Jicai and Wang Shihua, especially the eyes of Liu Ye playing Wang Jicai, which makes me feel as if this is Uncle Wang. As the story of Wang Jicai Shoudao gradually unfolded, "Shoudao Man" became a high-performance tear gas canister. I'm a person with a high tear point, but "The Island Keeper" makes me cry.
In the film, Wang Jicai secretly went to the island with his wife, and he wanted to stay for 15 days before going to the island. However, Wang Changjie, the head of the county people's armed forces department, could not find a suitable replacement for him to go to the island, and Wang Jicai could also understand Wang Changjie's mood - defending the island for the country, the responsibility is heavy, and cannot be easily treated, so he insisted on day after day, and Wang Shihua looked forward to it day after day on the shore. After the typhoon, Wang Shihua took his daughter Xiaobao to the island to visit Wang Jicai, and Wang Jicai's irrepressible excitement and Wang Shihua's affectionate style were vividly expressed under the interpretation of Liu Ye and Gong Zhe. "Little treasure! Little treasure! Wang Jicai shouted excitedly, but in exchange for the shock of his daughter's "wow" screaming when she saw her father with disheveled hair and a beard. As a father, I feel the pain in Wang Jicai's heart, and at the same time, I also feel more deeply how Wang Jicai weighs the weight of the country and the family, and the admiration is even thicker.
There are many touching details in the movie "The Island Keeper". Back on the shore, Wang Shihua made an unexpected decision - to bid farewell to the podium and go to the island to accompany her husband. There is no grandiose reason, only the phrase "He guards the island, I guard him." In an instant, this simple sentence hit the softest place in my heart - I was in a long-distance relationship with my lover for 7 years, the ups and downs, and finally came to fruition, and our love was as romantic and firm as Wang Jicai and his wife.
When the typhoon came, Wang Shihua, who was about to be potted, could not get off the island, and Wang Jicai, an all-around seven-foot boy with six gods and no master, contacted the Ministry of Human Armed Forces through a walkie-talkie and delivered his son under the remote guidance of an obstetrician and gynecologist. Wang Shihua tried harder and harder, but he fainted. Wang Jicai was helpless, and could only shout loudly at the sky over and over again, hoping to be protected by "God". Maybe God was really touched, Wang Shihua woke up, clutched the quilt tightly, and tried his best. Seeing this, my tears kept swirling in my eyes, and with the cry of a baby crying "Wow", the tears flowed down like broken pearls, flowing for the strong couple, and also for Wang Zhiguo, who came to the world in such a special way.
In reality, Wang Zhiguo is 2 days older than me, has similar interests, and lives and works in Nanjing, and we have become good brothers. I grew up in the countryside and occasionally went to the lively small county town, but his world was only open island in the first few years. In the film, Wang Zhiguo landed with a small school bag on his back, pointed to the ice cream that children were scrambling to buy, and asked, "What is that?" Walking into the school and seeing so many classmates, he was timid, crying and shouting: "I want to go back to the island!" "As a peer and a good brother, I have a feeling of re-acquaintance with him...
The education of children is always the top priority of parents. Because the child encountered difficulties in going to school, Wang Jicai decided to personally ask Minister Wang for instructions to go ashore. Unexpectedly, Minister Wang was hospitalized with a terminal illness and could not speak. At this scene, Wang Jicai firmly said to Minister Wang: "The organization trusts me for a day, I will not leave the island for a day, trust me for a lifetime, and I will not leave the island for a lifetime." "My tears flowed from the corners of my eyes like Minister Wang's tears...
A promise, a lifetime of waiting. Wang Jicai stuck to the isolated island for 32 years, and finally left himself in Kaishan Island. In the film, Wang Jicai suddenly fell ill, and his hands slowly slipped off the telescope and fell down. How I wished, how I wished he would be able to get back on his feet. However, the ambulance was in Mercedes, and two puppies chased after it all the time. Wang Shihua looked at the back window in the ambulance, without tears, but the sad eyes made every audience feel the pain of the cone.
At the end of the film, Wang Shihua went alone to raise the national flag, waving the national flag and planting the national flag into a simple flag-raising platform. Wang Jicai appeared, turned his head, smiled and said to her: "Hua, the way you wave the flag, you look better than me!" This smile is like the warm sun of spring opening up the frozen snowy mountains and touching the world.
"If a person does one thing well in his life, he will not lose his heart, and if he does not lose his heart, he will not work in vain!" Wang Jicai used 32 years to interpret this sentence and wrote an extraordinary chapter of life in an ordinary post. The movie "The Guardian of the Island" recreates an ordinary character, and every detail can find a shadow in real life: we are like him, there will be complaints, entanglements for life troubles, quarrels with lovers, and guilt for owing to our families... Like him, we will bravely face difficulties, have fun in life, and push our hearts with friends...
In March 2017, Wang Jicai and Wang Shihua bid farewell to the CCTV "Military Documentary" column group on Kaishan Island.
However, can we stand up for our faith like Wang Jicai? I will always work hard, take Uncle Wang as an example, and keep the "Kaishan Island" in my heart.
On June 18th, I will once again walk into the cinema to brush "The Island Keeper" for the second time, so that the tears that cleanse the soul will once again flow for ordinary heroes.
