Shi Peipu's father is a university professor, his mother is a teacher, and he has two older sisters. Born in 1938 in Shandong Province, he grew up in Kunming and learned French and Spanish during his university years (Yunnan University). When Shi Peipu was 17 years old, he became famous in acting and singing and joined the Peking Opera Troupe. In the Beijing Youth Peking Opera Troupe, his position was as a screenwriter, actor and secretary of the league department, and at that time, he was not mainly focusing on Qingyi, who was good at dressing up as a woman, but a small student.

Counting them, he came from a prominent family, still a college graduate of that era, and his uncle was also the elite of the time, Dincillin. He was a physicist and a senior student at the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom, who created a series of one-act comedies during the Republic of China and served as deputy minister of culture after liberation.

As the first Western country to establish diplomatic relations with China, 20-year-old Boursico applied for a job and ran to Beijing as soon as the embassy was established, so he came to China in 1964 with curiosity. At the time, however, he was just a low-level clerk in the embassy who resembled an accountant.
Then, as the film developed, at a Christmas party in December 1964, Bursico met 26-year-old Shi Peipu, who was Chinese at the embassy staff and had not yet dressed as a woman, but his eyebrows were clear, he looked like a girl, and he would be shy like a girl.

Shi Peipu told Bursico one day that he was pregnant, and by this time Bursico had left the French Embassy in Beijing to work at the French Embassy in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. From 1977 to 1979, he took more than 500 official documents from the embassy and traveled by train from Mongolia to Beijing, where he handed them to Shi Peipu.

They maintained their relationship until one meeting, when Pepple gave Bursico a 4-year-old child and said it was their child. They gave their children the French name Bertrand and the Chinese name Shidudu. But in fact, the child was bought, an orphan in Xinjiang, who looked like a Mixed Eurasian race.
After Bursiko returned to France, he thought of bringing Shi Peipu and the child, "mother and son", back to France.
In 1982, Shi Peipu and the child went to Paris to reunite with Bursico. On June 30, 1983, Bursiko was arrested, and soon after, Shi Peipu was also arrested.
In court, doctors confirmed that Shi Peipu was not biologically intersex and had not undergone any other surgeries. He said in court that although he allowed Bursiko to love as a woman, he never claimed to be a woman to Bursiko. Of course, this does not shake the judge's verdict on the charges.

In 1986, the sentence came down, 6 years in prison, and China denied espionage. (This part of the book of Kang Sheng, Shi Peipu's boss and head of the Chinese institution, is actually described in the book, but it has been impossible to examine for a long time, and the facts have been blurred.) In April 1987, Shi Peipu was pardoned to ease diplomatic tensions with China. In August of the same year, Boursico was also pardoned.

It is said that the embassy documents that Boursico successively provided to Shi Peipu were of the lowest or lower level of confidentiality, and the losses caused to France were indeed insignificant. And public opinion expressed sympathy for Bursico. In essence, the two did not disrupt the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, and cultural exchange activities and economic cooperation were constantly developing rapidly.
After the amnesty, Shi Peipu continued to perform Peking Opera and no longer met with Bursiko, outsiders asked, only saying, "I used to make women and men fascinated by me, who I am, who they are, it doesn't matter." ”
When he was a teenager, he knew that he had to sell it because his mother was forced to sell it because of hunger, and he was not related to the two. But he was grateful for his upbringing, and after Shi Peipu was released from prison, he also went to work to support this adoptive father. The orphan is now the father of three.

Shi Peipu died of a heart attack in 2009 at the age of 70.
It is said that after Shi Peipu's pardon, he took the initiative to find Bursiko, who was admitted to a nursing home because of a stroke, and sincerely confessed in front of his bed, "I still love you deeply."
It has also been said in Bursiko's records that Shi Pei pu ruined everything about him, but in the end it is better to be deceived than to deceive others, and he still prefers that Shi Pei Pu is really a woman and Bertrand is really his son.
After Shi Peipu's death, the former diplomat said he was now "free" and had a long-term relationship with another man, living in public.
