In recent years, due to the continuous improvement of the ecological environment, the ecological awareness of the masses has gradually increased, and wild animals have frequently entered and left cities and rural areas, and it has become the norm for citizens to rescue wild animals. No, just yesterday, the citizens of Zhongmu County found an injured big bird during the construction in the wild, and quickly handed it over to the forest public security for rescue.

At more than 7 p.m. on January 14, the forest public security police who had been busy for a day had just picked up their rice bowls, and the alarm phone suddenly rang, "A large injured bird was found in the County Gudui Liu community."

The police are the orders! Putting down the rice bowl, the police took the bird cage and set off quickly. After arriving at the scene, the big bird was lying motionless in a cardboard box, looking very weak. Upon closer inspection, it was found that the wings of the big bird were seriously injured and had temporarily lost the ability to fly. Worried about the infection of the big bird's wound, the police quickly bought hydrogen peroxide to disinfect and applied powder to the wound. After contacting wildlife experts to send pictures for identification, it was confirmed that the scientific name of this bird was ordinary eagle, which was a national second-level key protected wild animal.

According to the analysis of the police, the reason why it was injured may be injured while preying, but it is not excluded that it may be artificially injured. After careful feeding by the police, the spirit of ordinary eagles has improved significantly. At present, the police have sent this ordinary bird to the wildlife rescue station of the Zhengzhou Forestry Bureau for rescue, and released it after it has fully recovered.

Dong Chaowei, director of the Zhengzhou Wildlife Rescue Station, introduced that ordinary birds of prey are medium-sized birds of prey, mainly inhabiting mountain forests and forest edges, feeding on forest rats, and also eating animal foods such as frogs, lizards, snakes, hares, small birds and large insects, and sometimes going to villages to hunt poultry such as chickens.

At present, the Police of Zhongmusen is carrying out a special action to combat the destruction of precious and endangered wildlife resources throughout the county, vigorously publicizing laws and regulations related to the protection of wild animals, and has achieved remarkable results.
