On the morning of June 30, Zhang Guoqing, member of the Party Working Committee and deputy director of the Management Committee of The Yahe Industrial Zone in Nanyang City, led a team to go deep into the Chengyuan Agricultural Base to deliver services for enterprises, accompanied by Guo Shudong, director of the Rural Revitalization Service Center of the Yahe Industrial District, and Xing Qingxin, chairman of Wanjiayuan Group.
Accompanied by Chairman Xing, Deputy Director Zhang Guoqing and his entourage carefully inspected all kinds of ecological vegetables, melons, fruits, and the surrounding environment planted in the Chengyuan Agricultural Base. On behalf of the Management Committee of The Yahe Industrial Zone, Deputy Director Zhang expressed his gratitude to Chengyuan Agriculture for its contribution to the social and economic development of the Yahe Industrial Zone, and learned in detail about the development of enterprise settlement and the current difficulties and problems.
He stressed that Chengyuan Agriculture should rely on the strong agricultural scientific and technological strength of the base, actively assume social responsibility, and drive the surrounding masses to increase their income steadily and get rid of poverty and become rich. Henan Chengyuan Agricultural Base is an efficient modern demonstration agricultural project jointly built by Wanjiayuan Group and China Aerospace Breeding Center, which integrates organic ecological agriculture planting, aerospace breeding and modern agricultural planting new technology promotion. The first phase of the project covers an area of 240 acres, with an investment of 45.5 million yuan, and has built the largest 14,000 square meters of intelligent glass shed in Asia, a 12,000 square meters sunshine arch shed, 5 1,800 square meters of insulation sheds, and 3 1,500 square meters of insulation sheds.
The construction of the Chengyuan Agricultural Base not only creates conditions for the development of modern agriculture in the Yahe Industrial Zone, but also actively assumes the social responsibility of poverty alleviation in the whole region. The 573 poor households in the work area have achieved full coverage of industrial drive, transferred more than 1,000 mu of land of poor households to poverty alleviation cooperatives, and provided one-stop services such as fertilizers, pesticides, and land cultivation free of charge, and also led the poor people to get rid of poverty and become rich by providing employment jobs, custody services, technical guidance and other models.
