In 1990, Ke Shouliang, who was famous for his flying car stunts, sat on the director's seat with the support of the film company owner Zhang Guozhong, and directed "Curry Pepper" starring Stephen Chow and Jacky Cheung, which exceeded HK$10 million at the box office after its release and ranked 13th in the annual list. Two years later, Ke Shouliang directed a similar "living treasure partner film" "Yafei and Yaji", although the box office was not as good as the previous one, but it still had more than 9 million Hong Kong dollars.
Since these two films were made by Ke Shouliang's gang art company, they must be more or less controlled by people in creation, perhaps in order to have more room to play themselves, so the following year, Ke Shouliang simply established "Ke Shouliang Film Production Co., Ltd." and made the company's first and only film - "Cheese Ham".
From the funny name of the film taken from the food and the theme route of the living treasure partner, it is not difficult to see that it is still a "by-product" of "Curry Pepper", and it is widely considered to be the third part of "Curry Pepper". But this time, the protagonist of the story is no longer a police detective or a small, but two partners from the package out of the gas company.
The story tells that cheese (Zhang Weijian) and ham (Zeng Zhiwei) jointly founded the "Bao Chu Qi" company to solve people's troubles. Once, a dying old man Leon (Liu Zhaoming) found the two and asked them to kill the daughter of the enemy, the rich family Ofey (Wang Zuxian), in order to get ten million wages, so Cheese disguised himself as a deliberate approach to Joey's side and waited for the opportunity, but gradually became impressed by the beauty and kindness of the other party, so he decided to help Joey in turn with ham, and created the illusion that Joey was dead to fool through the pass.

This film still continues the style of "Curry Pepper" and "Yafei and Yaji" frantically piling up jokes, among which Zhang Weijian and Zeng Zhiwei wear children's clothes to win Wang Zuxian's sympathy, and the two and Ke Shouliang confront each other for the funniest scenes, especially a large number of "meat" paragraphs in the film, which still seem bold, and Zeng Zhiwei and Chen Baixiang dance close to each other, which also shows his desperate and entertainment spirit.

The failure of "Cheese Ham" was first of all mediocre quality, nonsense, and in the era of comedy in those years, it did not have the advantage of highlighting the siege.
