From October 29 to 30, the third Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Nature Education Forum and Carnival will be held in Shenzhen. Co-sponsored by the Guangdong Provincial Forestry Bureau, the Hong Kong Fisheries and Agriculture Conservation Department and the Municipal Affairs Department of Macao, the event, with the theme of "Sharing Nature, Green Beauty Bay Area", mobilized the management departments of nature reserves in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, social organizations, public welfare funds, colleges and universities and other units to participate in the meeting to jointly discuss and study the nature education work of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.

According to reports, the third Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Nature Education Forum and Carnival activities are divided into two parts: the Nature Education Forum and the Carnival. The natural education forum will invite experts such as liu huanbin, foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Engineering and former president of South China University of Technology, to give lectures on the spot. The "Guangdong Nature Education Report" will also be officially released on the spot, which will provide a scientific basis for the construction of a guangdong nature education base with complete facilities, rich content and efficient operation, and a number of guangdong nature education demonstration lists will be announced.

The 2021 Nature Education Carnival will also be launched on October 29, and 55 well-known brand nature education bases and related institutions will launch different types of characteristic nature education activities and products on the spot, jointly create carnival punch card activities, and exhibit the winning works of the second Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Nature Observation Competition. In addition, the event site also set up a theme exhibition area and a series of interactive experience games, etc., so that the general public can participate in the activities and experience nature.

According to the relevant person in charge of the Provincial Forestry Bureau, the Guangdong Forestry Bureau, together with the relevant departments of Hong Kong and Macao, has successfully held two sessions of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Nature Education Forum and Carnival, which has effectively promoted the exchange and cooperation of nature education between Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, and jointly promoted the formation of a good atmosphere of respecting nature, conforming to nature and protecting nature in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.

As early as 2014, Shenzhen established China's first nature school, OCT Wetland Nature School. In 2019, the Forestry Bureau of Guangdong Province established the country's first provincial-level leading group for nature education, and the province's nature education work entered the fast lane. In the past three years, Guangdong has successively issued the country's first provincial-level nature education document, incorporated the results of nature education work into the scope of forestry title evaluation, established the first cross-regional and cross-border joint Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Nature Education Alliance in China, and established the country's first provincial-level nature education professional committee. The province's nature education work has aroused sustained and widespread concern in the society, forming a good situation for the whole society to promote nature education.
