"Qingjing Competition" is the abbreviation of "CCTV National Young Peking Opera Actors Television Competition". The Qingjing Competition is a large-scale competition of Peking Opera in China, which has several major characteristics in the industry, such as high authority, wide dissemination and professional guidance. The Youth Beijing Competition has been successfully held for seven sessions. During this period, a large number of young Peking Opera top talents emerged, and more than 90% of the famous actors in the Current Peking Opera circle have experienced the baptism of the competition.
In 1987, 25 young Peking Opera actors won the "Best Performance Award" and 26 won the "Excellent Performance Award" in the first Qingjing Competition (the First National Young Peking Opera Actors Television Selection Competition).

Yan Xingpeng, born in Shanghai in 1953, is a famous Peking Opera performance artist and the third generation leader of Yanpai art. Yan Jupeng, the founder of the former "Four Great Su Sheng" Yan School, was the son of the famous Peking Opera artists Yan Shaopeng and Zhang Shaolou, and the nephew of Mei Lanfang's disciple Yan Huizhu. In 1987, he won the first national Peking Opera Young Actors Television Selection Competition, the first place in the best performance of Xu Sheng, and was honored as "Xu Sheng Yuan".
