As of the end of June 2021, offshore wind power has accumulated 11.134 million kilowatts of installed capacity on the grid, an increase of 59.2% year-on-year。 The maturity and large-scale application of the industrial chain, the popularization of large-scale wind turbines and technological progress continue to promote the cost reduction and efficiency of offshore wind power projects, and the offshore wind power market has broad prospects for development.

From January to June 2021, the total number of tenders in the domestic market reached 31.5GW, an increase of 167.5% year-on-year, all of which were onshore wind power tenders. In terms of classification, the northern region accounts for nearly 70%, which is the main source of wind power demand; 3MW and above models have become the mainstream of the bidding market.
With the iterative and large-scale development of wind power equipment technology, the average bidding price of the whole machine product market has shown a downward trend. According to incomplete statistics, as of June 30, 2021, the average bidding price of each 3S platform model in the whole market was 2,616 yuan / kW, and the average bidding price of each 4S platform model in the whole market was 2,473 yuan / kW.
