On October 21, the 28th Standing Committee of the 10th CPPCC Regional Committee was held. With regard to doing a good job in improving farm houses in the whole region, Shi Hongbing pointed out that it is necessary to solve the problem of effectively linking the three-year action of improving farm houses with the revitalization of rural areas; it is necessary to raise funds through multiple channels, guarantee the expenditure on the improvement of farm houses at the bottom of the ladder, and solve the problem of balance of funds; it is necessary to clarify the relationship between new-type rural communities and the original village residences, actively do a good job in integrating new rural communities, and solve the problem of community management; it is necessary to introduce practical and feasible preferential policies, vigorously support special industries, let the masses find good jobs at the doorstep of their homes, and solve the problem of increasing income and getting rich.
On the same day, the meeting also studied the spirit of the Eighth CPC Huai'an City Congress; some CPPCC members expressed their opinions and suggestions on the proposal to improve the housing conditions of the peasant masses and build a happy and beautiful homeland.
