Medan Village
Meidan Village is located in the southwest of Yongquan Town, built along the 83 Provincial Highway, the original Meidan and Shizaotou two natural villages, in 1991 Meidan Natural Village moved to Shizaotou, merged into one. The village has 280 households and 1078 people, and is a demonstration village for the construction of a well-off society at the provincial level.
The first is to give prominence to the key development of agriculture with special characteristics. Meidan Village is mainly based on the cultivation of citrus, with a total planting area of more than 2,000 mu, an annual output of 2,000 tons, and an annual sales volume of 6.5 million yuan. Citrus has become the main source of economic income for villagers. Some villagers in Meidan Village also planted Yongquan oranges to other provinces and cities, based on local brands and technologies, and created considerable economic benefits by contracting land abroad.
The second is to innovate ideas to develop the industrial economy. Since 2005, MeiDan Village has introduced 5 enterprises such as clothing, food, papermaking, and ship repair, so that Meidan Village can better develop with a financial foundation, and also solve the employment problems of more than 40 villagers. In addition, Meidan Village also overcame various difficulties, took the lead in building a standard factory building of 4100 square meters in the town, and began to lease it in 2007, which alone brought 580,000 yuan of economic income to the village collective.

The third is to pay attention to harmony and focus on improving people's livelihood. Through several years of development, the roads and sites of the whole village have been fully hardened, and the green area within the jurisdiction of the village has reached more than 85%, and 3 ecological parks have been built. Invested 1 million yuan to build a new 880-square-meter villager center, the center is equipped with table tennis room, chess and card room, fitness room, far-distance education play room, basketball court and other activity venues; completed the Meidan Reservoir de-risking and reinforcement project; realized the lighting of street lights, opened the primary school students safe shuttle car; the most urgent need of the masses Haitang Dam project has also started construction.
Taotou Village
Taotou Village is located in Sanmen County Hairun Street Huagu Mandao Island, the village has 674 households, a total of 1981 people, including ethnic minorities (She) 50 households and 186 people, is one of the largest ethnic minority agglomeration villages in Taizhou City, but also the only shexiang on the sea in the country.

In 1997, Taotou Village opened the precedent of "breeding and rearing", and established the first stock field company in the province, and in 2012, Taotou marine aquaculture "per capita income of 10,000 US dollars, collective income of 10 million yuan, industrial scale of 100 million yuan", creating a "Taotou model". Since 2014, Taotou Village has actively integrated with the "Belt and Road" initiative and traveled to Southeast Asia, Africa and other places to achieve transnational breeding.

Taotou has a solid fishing foundation and distinctive cultural characteristics, and the whole village has more than 11,700 acres of breeding ponds and shallow beaches. In 2020, the output value of the village's aquaculture industry will exceed 200 million yuan, the village's collective economic income will reach 14 million yuan, and the per capita annual income will reach 120,000 yuan.
