On Thursday, December 11, 2003, the coffin of Karen and her parents was moved from their original cemetery in California to Pearce Brothers Valley Oak Memorial Park in Westlake Village, California. Karen and her father and mother rested in their original coffins. At 12:30 p.m. PST that day, they were placed in the Carpenter family's private cemetery in the cemetery's "Garden of Tranquility." She was named one of the 29 greatest women in rock 'n' roll by VH1 television in the United States. "Yesterday Once More" is a carpenter song performed by the band Carpenter, which was created in 1973. Richard Carpenter and John Bedis wrote the song in response to the nostalgic winds of the early seventies. The song was shortlisted for the Oscar Centennial, runner-up on both the US Billboard Chart and the UK Pop Chart, and ranked first on the 1973 International Credible Chart and the US Billboard Easy Listening, and now the song has become one of the eternal bestsellers. Karen Carpenter left prematurely at the age of 32. She died of anorexia nervosa. This is due to the serious consequences of her long-term use of laxatives in order to stay slim, with long-term dieting. She died on February 4, 1983 in the arms of her beloved parents. Karen Carpenter's beautiful voice, intimate and natural singing, slightly sad, coupled with their use of multi-track recording technology, so their records are very successful both artistically and technically, and are the best of contemporary pop music.
