According to multiple media reports, Barack's son Emilio Ballack was involved in a serious car accident in Portugal and died at the age of 18.
Portuguese media revealed that the crash occurred near Troia, south of Lisbon, at around 2 a.m. Barak bought a property here a few years ago, which is why Barak's son showed up here by car.
Police and medical personnel were dispatched to Troia to rescue Emilio, but he was too badly injured to be rescued. More details of the accident, the police have not yet released to the public. Emilio's body has now been transported to a nearby forensic research institute for an autopsy.
