Huang Xia's words are full of chivalry, heroic and magnificent.
"The waves run, the waves, the mighty rivers never end", is the bustling Shanghai beach; "a laugh in the sea, the tide on both sides of the river", is the sword and sword shadow of the river and lake; "the Great Wall of the Yangtze River, the Huangshan Yellow River, in my heart weighs a thousand pounds", is the beating of the Chinese heart.
The chinese landscape imagery and the profound Chinese cultural heritage - Huang Xia's lyrics have also been deeply branded with the "Chinese seal". Huang Xia's feelings of home and country are not unrelated to his family origin.
Huang Xia, whose real name is Huang Zhansen, was born in Guangzhou in 1941, the sixth of eight brothers and sisters, and lived in the area of Baohua Road in Xiguan as a child.
Huang Xia's grandfather was a military attaché of the Qing Dynasty, and when he fought with bandits, he was a pioneer and was shot and killed. His father had to carry the life of a family of eight from the age of 16. Father bare-handed, early in the dark, starting from the boat workers and dock coolies, hard work for decades, finally bought some land in Xiguan, built a house, so that the family can live a worry-free life.
Later, in order to escape the war, Huang's parents took the young Huang Xia to Foshan by ferry to Hong Kong's Sheung Wan to escape. At that time, he did not know the pain of the adults, but vaguely remembered that his father had been looking in the direction of his hometown on the boat, and there were tears in his eyes.
On April 30, 1950, the British government of Hong Kong announced the abolition of the policy of free entry of Chinese, and since then Hong Kong and the mainland have become two worlds with a clear distinction. Huang Xia and his family settled in Sham Shui Po, hoping to return to Guangzhou one day and return to that homeland.
His father's worries about his homeland had a profound impact on Huang Xia. Later, Huang entered La Salle College, a prestigious school in Hong Kong. He has always been at the top of his studies, especially in Chinese, and his exams are above ninety. "I was touched by the dedication of teacher Huang Gan in reciting Li Qingzhao and Li Hou's main words." Huang once described himself as falling in love with classical Chinese literature ever since.
Several times at dinner, my father mentioned the family past, and he burst into tears every time. At that time, he was young and did not know how to be good, so he had to keep his head down and blindly grill rice. Later, when I was literate, I figured out the emotions in it.
This emotion was filled in his words. A song "My Chinese Heart" tells the infinite affection of the wanderer for his home country. In 1984, amateur singer Zhang Mingmin appeared on the CCTV Spring Festival Gala as a wanderer returning home, and deeply performed this song "My Chinese Heart", which instantly hit the tears of Chinese and spread all over the country.
"The Great Wall of the Yangtze River, the Yellow River of Huangshan Mountain, weighs a thousand pounds in my heart, no matter when, no matter where, the same in my heart!" This song, whenever you listen to it, is heart-pounding.
Years later, Huang was asked in an interview, how was the song "My Chinese Heart" created? Huang Xia sincerely gave the answer: "My heart that loves China is eternal. Writing this song is very natural, I do not have any embellishment, very plain few words, is to talk about my love for the motherland, this heart is very real. It may be because this true feeling has touched the compatriots, and the love truth is easy to become popular. ”
