"The Night of the Eighth Day" is directed and written by Kim Tae-hyung, starring Kim Yu-jeong, Lee Seung-min, Park Hae-joon and Nam Do-rin. The film tells the story of two mysterious creatures torturing humans about 2500 years ago who were locked up in coffins. They need to infiltrate seven weak human hosts to take on full form. Centuries later, the coffin keeper, the monk in the river, realized that one of the creatures had awakened, and he began to search for life with another monk, Jeong Seok, to prevent "it" from causing serious damage to human society.
