The athletics competition of the 2021 Taiwan Games will be held from October 17 to 21 at the Banqiao No. 1 Sports Ground in New Taipei City.

Men's 100 U.S.
The winner was Yang Junhan of Hualien County, with a final result of 10.29 seconds (+1.3m/s), the runner-up was Wang Weixu (10.37 seconds), and the third place was Lin Yutang (10.38 seconds). In the preliminaries, Lin Yutang and Yang Junhan scored 10.24 seconds (+1.0m/s) and 10.22 seconds (-0.1m/s) respectively, both exceeding the conference record.
Men's 200 U.S.
The winner was Yang Junhan, with a time of 20.72 seconds (+1.3m/s). The runner-up was Ye Shoubo (21.04 seconds) and the third place was Wang Weixu (21.18 seconds).
Men's 400 U.S.
The winner was Yu Chenyi of Yunlin County, with a time of 47.25 seconds, and the top three ran into 48 seconds.
Men's 800 U.S.
The winner was Chen Yanwei of Kinmen County, 1:54.09.

The winner was Huang Xiangwei of Kaohsiung City, 31:16.76.
Men's 110m hurdles
The winner was Chen Kuiru of Yunlin County, with a time of 13.50 seconds (+1.6m/s), and he was the only one who ran into the final for 14 seconds.
Men's 400m hurdles
